She's English now.sefton wrote: Sat Oct 21, 2023 9:51 pm I’ll be pulling out my All Blacks jersey, even YourMother can’t make me support the Boks.
You are going to be disappointed. We are part of the NH now.sefton wrote: Sat Oct 21, 2023 9:51 pm I’ll be pulling out my All Blacks jersey, even YourMother can’t make me support the Boks.

You're finally on a Bok RWC match thread which your team is playing in. I expected more than this post, so much more.Guy Smiley wrote: Sat Oct 21, 2023 9:40 pm Bokke are cooked. England had them on the ropes. They are soft and can't handle pressure.
Peaked.
Too.
Early.
More cutting insight from Ox. With this quality of support, we can expect an easy game against the over rated Springboks next week._Os_ wrote: Sat Oct 21, 2023 10:33 pm

_Os_ wrote: Sat Oct 21, 2023 10:43 pm Smiler all RWC you've been coming in at the side on our match threads and taking sly jabs at unfortunate Bok supporters who get isolated, hidden sucker punches to the face the TMO misses, before rolling away and never venturing back onto the threads. I've seen you using the classic pop up attack method of foruming, the coward's gambit.
Now you have what you wanted and there's no place to hide, and what do we get ... "peaked too early"???
Had more fight in you for the Bok pool matches. Weak.
Not tears of rage, but tears of pity. Not words said in anger but out of concern, concern for an efriend who on the eve of a once in a generation match, is more concerned with getting one over poor old Ox.
You had England FFS - how easy was that?OomStruisbaai wrote: Sat Oct 21, 2023 9:44 pm All Blacks had the easy draw.
Don't worry, Boks will lift for the final.
Good preparation for the grand finally.Enzedder wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 1:24 amYou had England FFS - how easy was that?OomStruisbaai wrote: Sat Oct 21, 2023 9:44 pm All Blacks had the easy draw.

And how hard could you make it?
No doubt they will lift for the final. I thought the Springboks looked half asleep today, like they didn't want to be there. Confused and amused by England's antics they did eventually do what needed to be done, but left it very late.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sat Oct 21, 2023 9:44 pm All Blacks had the easy draw.

Reported for racism.
Sounds like a challenge.sefton wrote: Sat Oct 21, 2023 9:51 pm I’ll be pulling out my All Blacks jersey, even YourMother can’t make me support the Boks.
You are basing this on a single pre RWC game. We just crunched the Argies in to dust in the scrums. So I’m feeling like we are in a better place now.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:11 am I have much more confidence for the final for various reasons. Bokke need to be underdogs. We have been there in 2019. We put up a record score at Twickenham. All Blacks can't scrum, exct
There were just three scrums in the NZ v IRE quarter final.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:11 am I have much more confidence for the final for various reasons. Bokke need to be underdogs. We have been there in 2019. We put up a record score at Twickenham. All Blacks can't scrum, exct
Argies scrum is a joke since Cheika took over. De Groot still have Twickenham mud in his big nose.Ymx wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:20 amYou are basing this on a single pre RWC game. Now weasel off back to your SH rugby down the drain thread, with other wonderful insights.
We fabricate scrums.Muttonbird wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:36 amThere were just three scrums in the NZ v IRE quarter final.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:11 am I have much more confidence for the final for various reasons. The Boks looked as bad as NZ has done in many of their problem performances over the last 5 years. Luckily for them, England were so, so poor it didn't take much to ride over the top.Chilli wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:13 am The Boks played their final against the Frenchies last week. They looked mentally and physically fatigued last night. Add another hard and draining game to this and I doubt that they cam lift themselves again for next week.
On the other hand New Zealand had a tough game against the Irish, but then an easy semi final.
Physically and mentally they will be above the Boks.
I get that. Placing pressure on the ball carrier at tackle and ruck, but there's something different about the ABs and their pack in the last few weeks. I've not seen much like it since 2015.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:38 amWe fabricate scrums.Muttonbird wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:36 amThere were just three scrums in the NZ v IRE quarter final.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:11 am I have much more confidence for the final for various reasons. Agreed, they've clearly been putting the work in and learning the lessons of their learnings.Muttonbird wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:45 amI get that. We look the same in 2019 against Wales and England at top of he world after smashing the All Blacks. Week is a long time in the WC and that's why I am more at ease. Like I quoted, the been there factor.Muttonbird wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:42 amThe Boks looked as bad as NZ has done in many of their problem performances over the last 5 years. I'm sure they won't be as bad next week but the odd selections and undermining of players is with them now, while the ABs look settled, determined and building.
