Ironically went further north for the weekend (Portsoy) and saw nothing. They could have been spectacular, but we were tucked up in the camper van and saw nada

We spent a good while looking the wrong way and getting utterly pissed off as photos were rolling in from everyone. Eventually checked the front of the house and there it was . Who knew the Northern Lights weren’t in the north

I went out about 10.30 hoping to see them but they were only visible after 11pm.

No. But I'd rather experience it with my own eyes... went driving all over North Yorkshire Sat night... staring skyward... like a demented peeping Tom.
