Feyi-Waboso's unsurprisingly looked off the pace all match. That's an awful tackle and should be a straight red. Let's see how this stacks up against the instruction to refs to find mitigation.

England Rugby have it on YouTube.
Maybe it's just my internet connection, but picture quality is rubbish. Rugbystreams is pretty good.

Crazy attempt at a tackle, and deserves a red all day long.

Took nearly an hour to finish that half.

Quite enjoyable. Better than the Lions match last night.

* At least there's no Sweaties whining about English players here as well.

Upgraded to red by the bunker. You will need to find somebody else to blame.

Both decision are farcical.

We won't have a game if these morons win control. It was a nothing incident.

Haven't watched a full game of men's top-flight rugby in a while. See the live stream in my feed. Under 10 mins into this and... "Riiiight, that's why I stopped watching." I noticed the head contact even before the replay, but also why was George allowed to just lay there and grab the ball? That should be an immediate penalty. French player shouldn't have done it, but to be fair, only George's head was above the parapet of the tackled player's body. He shouldn't be asked, in a sense, by this widespread ref mentality to look the other way for the sake of continuity, to sort out someone deliberately killing quick ball. And we don't want players standing off every other breakdown like this going "Ref, penalty!?"

It's bollocks. I guarantee Jamie George wouldn't have mentioned it if England had scored instead of France.

It's bollocks and it's destroying the game.

Cheers I despise her she has been shafting the french ladies for long enough.

Any way not a great game but a good result for a scratch team

Last quarter cost us - negative impact off the bench, bar that walk in from Dombrandt, plus Scabbers questionable bench compositions ran out of luck as the backline got depleted.

It was pretty loose and erratic as these "XV" matches usually are. France deserved it though just about, got the rough end of a few decisions I thought.

Decent enough game at the stadium tbh, no complaints with French win as their red was soft as fudge and Eng card was lucky

Probably the most fanny I’ve seen at a game as a percentage ever - glad I have my Sunnos on as next to wife

Wasn’t too sunny in the end , maybe ten mins max during the game, hot but mostly overcast.

On ninth cider so bit pissed tbh

No. She's wonderful according to our Scottish friends.

Did anyone else notice Ford's conversion for the Willis try went over the 60 secs...... clearly Holly didn't.

Torygraph
The bunker official deemed Woki’s action as always illegal, so the punishment was upgraded from the on-field yellow card, but how that indiscretion was deemed to be equal in severity to Feyi-Waboso’s we shall never know.
As an aside, I've never seen a player get a zero rating but that's what Feyi-Waboso got from PR

As for RugbyPass: piece of sh*t kept logging me out.

For France, good to see Le Garrec play like he can rather than the half arsed rubbish he's dished up for Racing all season.
Jauneau: like I've said, he's the 2nd best SH in France.

Guillard was superb.

Almost like picking a guy who hasn't played for months is a stupid fucking idea and training camps, despite what some coaches seem to think, are not adequate for getting guys who aren't match fit up to speed.

I'd agree if you believe the match mattered. I assume Borthwick felt it was worth risking the result for the fans and other 20 odd players to allow the lad a shot of making the Eng tour (Lions seemed far fetched for me). Personally, I'm not a fan of this. If it's a testimonial or Baabaas, fine. Galthie did the same giving Slimani an outing.

The England tour squad has already been picked and all these guys are in it. They might have been playing for pecking order, but they were all due to go to Argentina. Feyi-Waboso, of course, has now managed to play his way off that tour because there's no good reason he doesn't pick up a ban. It'll be paltry two weeks (6 week entry, halved for previous good record and managing to say sorry convincingly at the hearing, minus another week for 'tackle school'), but it'll rule him out.

Yep this was noticed in the stadium, all we thought was that the clock had started early as there didn’t appear to be any rush from her or Ford. No frenchies seemed to notice either so #shrugs
