Not having to re-size pics or find suitably sized pics to use.

The automatic resizing function is cool

Being able to embed Youtube / Twitter etc.

Easy to set the SPOILER tag

Basically functions the PR forum should have enabled for at least 10 years.

Amen to all these.

It’s not as important, but posting emojis from your phone.πŸ‘πŸΏπŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸΊ.

Funnily enough I basically never post on my phone, either on PR previously or on NPR. I will often read forums on my phone to pass the time when I have a spare 20 seconds, but I'll never post. I wait till I am on a laptop or computer keyboard. I find phone posting unsatisfying.

Fok! I didn't know. I mostly post from work PC and the emojis on here gives me night shivers. Good to know there's an alternative.

I'm enjoying that most posters are coming here with a fresh attitude. The only posters I have struck who are being the same deadshits they were on PR are Kiwias, JMK26, Shanky's mate and Raggs. You just put them all on ignore and its a brand new day.

A thousand times this.

ASMO has done a great job in setting it up, he listens to suggestions and has even made changes based on them, he's in tune with the bored's sensibilities (see Mutton's recent colour change) and he's made it clear he has no intentions of going all power-crazed on us - though I guess he would say that either way.

Plus the look and feel and great functionality.

I like the how the banner at the top goes from blue on the left side and blends into red on the right. It is very aesthetically appealing.

Yes, that and the navigation generally is much, much better here.

I do find myself straying over to PR just out of habit. Haven't posted there for quite a while. I wish PR would just fold, so relieving me of the chore of checking that nothing worthwhile is being discussed there.

2 obvious questions to that;
1. How long were you posting over there?
2. What are you doing posting here?

1. About 10 years, though only now and then. Lurked for years before that.
2. Same as everyone else. I've found NPR to be a saner and more agreeable place. Give it time, I suppose...

Both on PR and here I did/do a lot more reading than posting.

For some reason, Kiwias thought it appropriate - at a point where we had not interacted at all on this forum - to suggest I should stop breathing and die. On ignore he went.

Let's just examine your post for a moment.

Play the man, not the ball - yes tick.Rule fail.

General dickhead insult - yes tick. Rule fail.

Breach of the rules:
Whilst we encourage banter, as a general rule, if you cant say it to to someones face or in public in real life then don't say it here.
Yes tick, because if you were standing in front of me you'd be too gutless to say it to my face.

Mod's,you must now ban this poster for clear breach of the rules.

If you don't, you will have zero creditability going forward.
