The only Test side that discourages selecting players who don’t play at home. A clear decline of the team since 2015.
Perhaps it’s time to catch up with the rest of the world and change this strategy?
Should ABs play in Europe?
If we need to change any strategy, it is coaching selection. We had become stale in the latter Hansen years and then chose to go with more of the same (a less talented more of the same).
Our eligibility rules are not the problem.

Good question, Sandy. Seems like saffers care more about the ABs returning to being a strong side than many NZers, who just want to moan at the coach.
Snecky and TJ have recently become father's, so that's probably got something to do with form lately, I mean it's tough being away from family in isolation with your team knowing your wife is at home by herself, while you are missing important moments in your life.
And they still need to quarantine when they get home.

It might toughen them up a bit too, as they have been found wanting physically by England, Australia and Argentina.Sandstorm wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 10:05 am I just look at how much Faf has improved and how far Snecky and TJ has gone backwards recently. There must be a case here for change!
Rassie said that the Welsh were really tough and had bastards, they'd probably bully the All Blacks at this point in time as well.
Are you , Sir, suggesting that the All Blacks should have stayed away from this tournament?Not_Couch wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 10:13 am Snecky and TJ have recently become father's, so that's probably got something to do with form lately, I mean it's tough being away from family in isolation with your team knowing your wife is at home by herself, while you are missing important moments in your life.

No, just the ones who have recent newborns.Chilli wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 10:15 amAre you , Sir, suggesting that the All Blacks should have stayed away from this tournament?Not_Couch wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 10:13 am Snecky and TJ have recently become father's, so that's probably got something to do with form lately, I mean it's tough being away from family in isolation with your team knowing your wife is at home by herself, while you are missing important moments in your life.

That would include Beauden Barrett, TJ, Aaron Smith, Ardie Savea and Richie Mounga.
We can easily replace them tho, we're not chickens
