Does anyone know if there's a scanned copy of this online? I'd have thought that it's copyright is finished and it should be free to be scanned?

If you google the title you can get the google book of it, to download as a pdf or read online.

On my iPhone it showed a ‘Get’ button and after entering the Captcha code, I downloaded the pdf version. I can email it to you. PM me your email address.

Huh! It must be a regional copyright thing... you're in the US, correct? I'm pretty sure Canadian Copyright law is stricter.
It's actually for a friend so I'll pass on this revelation and he can make an attempt through his contacts (though it's not that expensive to buy... he has a second edition but doesn't want to damage it).
