Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

Saturday was my third Calcutta cup match at Murrayfield (2008 Jason White tackle on Sackey), (2010 Shite dull draw) and my last 6 nations match was the 2013 ROG officially past it match vs Ireland. Guess I'm a good luck charm since Scotland haven't lost a match vs England whilst I've been in live ...

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

A really fun match tonight for Glasgow. Ross Thomson was fantastic at 10, hugely composed and made zero mistakes. He really dictated the game in what was a very promising performance. Rufus McLean was also brilliant, he looked like vintage Keith Earls on kick-chase at times (but obviously 100 ...

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

Think embra would have had more change in just going for pick and gos when some of the forwards had half breaks when the clock was in the red. Sure you can't play the same way as when you pass it out for frowards to hit it up but a lot of the ground they were gaining was immediately negated by the ...

Re: How much rugby do you watch?

I watch practically all Test match rugby between the tier 1 (6 nations and TRC sides) will usually watch all the Summer and End of Year Tests as well and any additional International rugby PNC (Pacific Nations Cup), Japan, 6 nations B fixtures at times before the main ones.

In terms of non ...

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

I am getting some lovely schadenfreude from Gatland's continued 0-5 streak with the Chiefs. It's extremely petty but by god it feels good.

As far as minifield goes having the supports in front of the stands doesn't look great. Just build the stands as steep and as close to the sideline as possible ...

Re: Crusaders vs Blues: MATCH THREAD; Sat 11th July

No TJ Faiane and 3 playmakers in the backline plus Christie starting at 9 with Nock dropping out entirely is puzzling. Ruru is not who you want to be bringing on to chase a match against the Sadists.

Now that everyone has seen Beauden underplay his hand over the previous rounds it's time to let ...

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

Used to post on PR more regularly but been more quiet as of late.

I actually ran into my avatar's namesake when I was reffing a school match. Loretto vs High School of Dundee. Didn't tell him that I shitpost on PR under his likeness though, might have been an awkward conversation. :D
