Having been past the new ground a few times, the seats are a damn sight higher than they were at Myreside. There's standing in front of the seats on three sides, so the fist row of seats is something like 6-8 feet in the air and there's more of a rake than there was at Myreside.
I wondered if those were standing areas, I quite like standing at games.
Yeah, when they were discussing it many of us as season ticket holders made it quite clear that we wanted decent standing areas, and not to be relegated to one end. Two main reasons
1. It's fricking Baltic on some days through the winter, so sitting isn't attractive - huddling together for warmth and moving around is!
2. If you want to generate an atmosphere you need to have a way for those who want to make noise to congregate together, terracing is ideal for that.
