I have got a Daily Telegraph subscription which allows me the entire Digital edition of the DT on an App. I have the App on my phone but when I search for the App on my Laptop as it would be a lot easier to read there is no Telegraph in the Appp store - any ideas?

The App doesn't run on Windows 3.0?

Seriously though, if it's a Windows laptop then you need some sort of emulator to download and run it probably

OK well it looks like you need an emulator for a Mac OS as well as it's only designed to run on Android or IOS
Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac
Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App >> . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer.
Bear in mind I'm not a Mac user thought so could be talking arse

Buy a Chromebook. Then simply download the app to the Chromebook from Google Play.

Easy.

The simple answer is an app is an app. It's neither a program or a web page. apps are designed to run on mobile devices only. Windows just likes to confuse everyone by adopting the mac fashionista approach now of calling its download centre a "store" and programs there as "apps".

I think there was some sh*thouse compromise (IIRC) in a recent windows update which allowed Win10 to run some Android apps if your phone was connected to the PC.

I use the website and sign on with my Apple ID. Works well but does not give Puzzle access like I get through the app.

Seriously OS, get yourself a Chromebook. They're designed for the online world. No viruses, no updates, no boot-up time (<10secs from turning it on to being online). Easy.

What radio station is it that Julia Hartley-Brewer is on? I have family members who bought my ninety-year-old mother a subscription to the Telegraph and between Hartley-Brewer and the Telegraph they've lost the power of critical thinking.

They are indeed, Fangle.

My mind just doesn't work that way, I'm afraid. I'm a lot better at Sudoku.

My issue with the Telegraph is their news content rather than the funnies page: they are apt to whip up hysteria over the imagined wrong-doings of the so-called "woke" sector which drives the blue rinse brigade (of whom, I believe OS is one) into a frenzy.

I disagree completely. I think that you should source your information from all available places. Do you think that OS, who was a very successful businessman, is so weak minded and you are so clever that he can’t read everything and come to his own decisions? That’s awfully arrogant!

And anyway he very obviously said is that all he really wants is a crossword puzzle.

Oh well, that attempt at levity fell somewhat flat.

I have no problem with sourcing information from multiple sources. Indeed, it is to be commended.

The problem occurs when you only read sources that closely match your prior held opinions.
