Only started getting it in my 50s, today is horrendous.. 😡

I never had it until I moved to London. I buy 3 or 4 packs of 30 Allacan tablets each year from Amazon and they do a fine job.

Tree pollen quite bad this year
Two pumps of Beconase up each nostril one am and one pm seems to do the trick!

I had it over a weekend, felt like loads of grit in the eye.
I know how stupid this sounds but initially I didn't think hayfever at all.
Never suffered from it, never experienced the symptoms.
It just didn't occur to me.
I thought I had developed eye strain as my eyesight was deteriorating, and the irritation was about that and that I needed to see an optician.
Went to spec savers, and left with two pairs of glasses (ok didn't leave they came three weeks later)at a cost of 190 quid.
They probably had dozens if people walk in with these symptoms that weekend, and never suggested hayfever to any of them.

I realised it was hayfever the next day after taking a tablet that relieves the discomfort instantly, and with no side effects whatsoever ever.

Never had it since, as that weekend the pollen count was through the roof.
Cost me 190 quid.

I was thinking I was going to escape it this season....but woke up a few weeks ago with a tap for a nose and it has steadily got worse.

Today my eyes are mustard, can't stop sneezing and nose is blocked and I'm annoyed at everything.

I never had it until I moved to Cape Town. My GP says that due to the high number of flowering plants, Cape Town has one of the highest incidences of hayfever. Also only got it in my late forties
