One of my great heroes is being commemorated.

I've had a go. This is really up there. I just lost out in finding the jewelled hare in Kit Williams Masquerade.

This is going to provoke a large headache.

I was at Bletchley last weekend as it happens. Very interesting but long Covid queues in the cold. I’m fascinated by all that Enigma stuff but I hit my ceiling of understanding too quickly.

No need. Plead "ignorance". Pretty good chance you'll win.

Good luck. This is a total boomeroozo brain chuck.

I now know the answer. I'm blooming furious. Lost out twice now. Bring on the next one!

An all time classic, even better than the "receiving the salute" and "pronounced him dead" ones

Good effort JM. Nice to know there's an historian on board.

The first is just a failure to understand the military procedure as I never served. The second is entirely true.

M1 up to Rugby. Lorry goes over the crash barriers going south.

I was first in. The lorry drivers were absolutely fantastic. They formed a barrier to slow the traffic down using this..

Now pipe down. Not supposed to attack a poster, are you? Mr Rubber Duck.

Not sure about the watch. It's a Rolex, But now I have a Garmin Fenix. It's got GPS plus a lot more.

Possibly can tell me a stinking individual is within range. Don't need that. I can smell you a mile off.

Fenix is way overpriced, i have a Venu that outperforms the Fenix in pretty much every area and is half the price.

Trouble is that I'm wedded to Garmin. They produce the best sailing navigation equipment.

Managed to get though a very tricky channel with rocks everywhere. And avoid a nasty rock in Antigua.

Did you know that the G in GPS is actually a dedication to Globus who created GPS but didn’t want to take credit for it.

In the same way graphics cards were originally called Globus Cards after their inventor.

I was involved in "mapping". The Post Office eventually came up with ACORN, which is apposite.

So it is. I'm not very price minded. Just bought the sapphire version.

Thanks. Never thought I'd get that approbation. Well deserved.
