They are to be treasured. I've been responsible for a couple but I'll start with my favourite from Manningtree Station.
"Change here for Harwich to the Continent". Underneath. "Frinton for the Incontinent".
That stayed up for amusement for ages till they scrubbed it off. Any other contributions?
Got a few more. And one is mine.

It's quite simple globby. Unless the property owner gives permission, graffiti is damaging to the property, no matter what the artistic merit the graffiti has.
Saying that, a friend of mine is a fairly well know graffiti artist - dotmaster.

Well, I've never been much of a conformist. Some of my stuff has been on pavements and washed away in the rain.Happyhooker wrote: Wed Jun 30, 2021 1:49 pm It's quite simple globby. There's a graffiti tunnel around here (not in the Town) and it's truly awful. No artistic merit whatever. According to the boys in blue, it's a couple of drug gangs having a go at each other.
No way is that acceptable, but decent stuff is.
As to the issue of "property ownership" goes, most of the rubbish is on Highways. Have a look at the 1980 Act.
Might it come under "trespass"? That's a tort minefield.

Sometimes it’s the simple ones which are best.

Silly post. Up to now, all the examples you've mentioned have been on private property. With this post you're attempting to change the discussion.Globus wrote: Wed Jun 30, 2021 2:10 pmWell, I've never been much of a conformist.
