Has it only been English lions that have given up penalties?

Kin ell

Farrell doesn't jump for the long lineout, the saffer does and peels off an 80m break while Warburton ignores it entirely and gives us some tedious story

Cool stuff

Great work by Hogg anyway

Nice play by Harris and Adams, just didn't bounce right.
Breakdown work has been terrible in the second half from BIL.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

Ehhhh

Was anonymous in the first half and has showed up a little better this half but still looks a shadow of the player he used to be

BI Lions finding some rhythm as the SA Lions run out of puff.

When Sam Simmonds comes on it is going to be a bloodbath.

Watched Lions 2017 this morning and several of the 2021 vintage look old, but none so past it as Faletau

Have to say I agree with Big D, think he has been good this week, made quite a few yards and getting around the pitch.

It’s a fucking joke.

If this is the standard now, the Boks are going to be in trouble when we hit the rucks.

Glad it’s just a penalty and not a card, but it really should have been nothing.

Hendrikse was decent in the first half, but is having a shocker in the second. There’s space out wide if the SA Lions can get it there, but Hendrikse’s distribution has been terrible.

I disagree with you Kiwi Warriors. You can’t flip a player onto his head at a ruck. Yellow for me.

The only reason it was head was because there was a boot sticking up, otherwise he lands on his back. How the fuck are you supposed to clean out someone who has their hands on the ball if you can't lift them at all in fear of doing it too well?

Adams gets his hattrick, George misses the ball but Hill grabs it and offloads nicely

Was the 9 and it was totally over the top. You're inch away from a serious neck injury. Just wasn't necessary.

It's almost like Daly's a centre and when he doesn't have to worry about defending or the aerial aspect of a position he's been shoe-horned into he can focus on the things that make him class.

Sigma are deep in their own 22, 30 points in front ; there’s no danger to the Lions in letting him win the turnover. Brains over brawn required.

It doesn't matter what player it was, he was trying to steal the ball in defence and was a valid target for a clean out. Nowhere near a serious neck injury and even the over officious tmo, ref, and Davies agreed...

Daly having a hell of a cameo.

This is silly. No back row is going to not try and clean out a player who has his hands on the ball when you're deep in their 22 on attack and the only forward in support. The decision to clean him out was the correct one - mad to say it wasn't. The argument is over the danger level of the cleanout itself.

Any player who doesn't try and clean out there is gonna get dropped.

BI Lions getting a lot of practice with that long skip-pass to the wing. Big threat for the Bok defense.

You still can't lift them over the 90. Regardless, this Lions team is a team of mostly no names.
