"There is no place for foul play in rugby, Springbok captain Jean de Villiers said on his arrival from Argentina at OR Tambo in Johannesburg earlier today.

"These are things, I believe, which are not part of rugby and I would like them to be sorted out," De Villiers said.

Two Argentinean players, Leonardo Senatore and Pablo Matera, were cited for alleged biting and eye-gouging incidents during their Rugby Championship match in Mendoza over the weekend."

Rassie must start preparing a video of past clashes so we can go full mental against all the teams in the Rugby Championship starting next weekend against Argentina....

I don't see the need for this fred now. We're are against the BIL's, as big if not bigger than the RWC. You downplaying this series is seriously disrespectful and shows immaturity, a rare thing for a man of your age.

It's smacks of someone only taking up rugby late in his life.

I am so sick and tired of the whinging around the tour. It's a complete clustervok.
Just waiting for the Kiwis to make their presentation to World rugby re reffing.
And the Aussie reffing backlash as the son of the soil has been dissed

Unfortunately, that schedule is seriously dated.

Why the whole thing (after the 2 matches in SA) isn't just played in the one country that's basically covid-free is unclear, but I'm guessing that's too obvious.

Shall we create a Rugby Championship 2021 Match thread.

Looking at this, and content, probably not the best candidate???
