i am a 6 footer, but gut has nearly gone now so happy days, but more to go, got some of those smart scales that do things like visceral fat, subcutaneous fat, bone mass, muscle mass and loads more.

Afrikaners didn’t pick themselves up without the help of the groups like the broederbond. After 1948 the English speaking workers at municipalities steadily got replaced by Afrikaans speakers, the same way they have been replaced by black workers now. My father-in-law worked at a fairly high level at the railways. And he was told to join the Broederbond or he wouldn’t get promoted. He had an ‘Afrikaans’ surname. Having a higher moral standard than me, he refused and in tge next 10 years working there he was bypassed over and over.

And now it is happening with the black affirmative action. All to be expected.

I agree, in time it will most likely happen. There may be a day when black people in south africa are more privileged than whites. And when that day comes, action should be taken to fix it. Our emplyoment laws are currently in favour of hiring black people.

But even after having said all of that, in 2020, white south africans are privileged compared to black south africans. There is no argument, on a factual level.

Recently i.e. last year around 5 minutes a k. I'm built for sprinting though and getting old. Knees are starting to take strain.

I cannot understand why anyone would want a tertiary degree in Afrikaans - having a command of your profession in English is a massive advantage
