It's been a bitter, spiteful tour with some terrible rugby and off field bullshit, but thank you anyway for coming.

Could have easily cancelled the tour given how bad Covid was here, or when the Boks got sick, but stuck with it can came within a striking distance.

I've been looking forward to the tour for 12 years ever since I actually attended the second test in 2009. Still the best rugby experience of my life; better than any of the 3 World Cup finals we won; and I've been chasing that dragon ever since. This wasn't to be it, but I'm hoping we'll see you again in 12 years.

I think we were incredibly lucky to take the series. More a case of the Lions losing, than the Boks winning.

Now you can all go back to hating each other

Never manager to see the last series v SA other than the final test so I'd also been looking forward to this for 12 years. Still love the occasion despite the shite and nationalism that surrounded it. Well done SA

Thank you Lions for coming, agree on that. End of. Everything else has been despicable.

Congrats to the boks, against many, many odds and despite all the negativity and many setbacks we pulled ourselves together and fought our way to victory. Did never succumb, never gave up. Massively proud!

Think the last test saved the entire tour.

And now I can go back to my normal FuckTheWelsh attitude, which is a relief to be honest,

Naw mate, you have crossed the line repeatedly, consistently a tool. Most of your compatriots have been decent value but I make no apologies for calling you out for being a prick

Reading these posts I keep going back to the title of the thread.

I don’t know what Chilli did over and above the normal shit talk during the series, but it’s a thank you thread. Calm down ladies.

Yea big thanks to the Lions for coming. Not the tour any of us wanted to see, but at least it happened.

I personally love the Lions and look forward to supporting them in 4 years.
