Though, I am still missing the names for the water boys.
Is there a limit on the number of water boys allowed per team? Could we reach a point where there are more water boys on the field than players at every stoppage? :???:

He was in the squad. Is from Queensland, so no isolating needed.

Great to see Aumua named to start. Is he the first palindrome to play test rugby?

Yep, he last played on 14 August, so he's missed four weeks of rugby already.
Even Sam says he is aiming for the last Bok test only...

No one said otherwise. That’s the only one he can make.
Apologies, I thought you were saying he would make the first Bok test straight out of quarantine.. my bad...

Now things are interesting!
Pity PSdT is broken. Would have loved to see how/if the blond missile would have been able to put Cooper under enough pressure to smother his playmaking ability.
Not sure how much pace Mostert has as a like-for-like replacement. He has a similar engine and work-ethic, but I think he is probably a step or two behind PSdT in terms of speed.

We are a poorer team without him, but at least we have Duane back.

I like Mossie and his work rate can't be faulted, but I would still prefer to see him start at lock. perhaps that's why we have 3 loose forward on the bench.

Mostert's nickname is Sous

And yeah, I agree. Worried that we don't have another lock on the bench. Would've put my mind more at ease seeing NJvR or one of the Du Preez twins on the bench if I'm honest.
Moving Sous to lock in the last quarter is convenient, but we lose a lineout option.

Faf usually shoot up in defense from scrums. No one better on defense then he and Herschel.

Would love to see us attack Cooper channel on attack.

Pretty sure he's a six... and that is Openside in SA...

https://www.ultimaterugby.com/siyamthanda-kolisi

Why would you play a 6ft 6 PSDT as an open side? I think they did once at Twickenham a few years back... and Ben Youngs ran around him all day...

"The star from Grey High School quickly rose to prominence through the Western Province ranks. A revelation at openside flank after Schalk Burger was cancelled out due to injury, Kolisi won many hearts over with his courageous play in the tight-loose."

It's stupidly contrarian; but yeah, 6 has been openside and 7 has been blindside in South Africa for ages.

6. Schalk Burger (Openside)
7. Juan Smith (Blindside)

6. Kolisi (Openside)
7. PSdT / Mostert (Blindside)

No idea why we do it the other way around the rest of the world.

The Wobs always moved Cooper out of the 10 channel when they could. You won't find him there on any set piece.

“ Clearly the All Blacks had been under the impression they had a spot for Whitelock in quarantine beginning Saturday, and clearly that had changed at the last minute, forcing the switch of plans.”

Bloody Aussies. Couldn’t get a quarantine slot?? WTAF?

Well at least R Mo is going to make it. Though the comment of “an insurance policy of sorts” doesn’t sound like he’s starting. If that’s not the case he will get decent game time, he might as well bail on it and go straight to the NH and skip quarantine altogether !!

Lienert-Brown's out with a hamstring injury. Rieko comes into centre and Tupaea onto the bench.

What’s plaasbrood? Looks like a loaf of normal bread.
