One of the few Chinese Government punishments I approve of.

If you slot them when they're knicking bikes; you save the country a fortune, when they graduate to bigger & better things; & you can be sure the scrots will !

Endemic problem here as well. Bastards carry chain cutters with them.

Bit harsh. The guy got humiliated in front of his son and didn't get the bike. What more do you want?

As much as I was prepared for vigilante justice when my bike was stolen, tool thieves and then people who steal musicians' gear should go to that especially nasty place in a Hieronymous Bosch painting before them.

You need to look to the Bhuddists for inspiration.

I was out cycling a few months ago, turns out even if you are hit by a car that didn't give way, and you are a hood ornament for 30 feet, it is just proper open season on cyclists.
You get breathalysed, have your injuries downplayed, (Dr insisted my injuries..after being run over by a motor vehicle...were just wear and tear...even after the driver admitted guilt immediately, it was like the Doctor was worried about his insurance going up too) after you are just left in the street waiting for an ambulance that will never come, all the while feeling like a criminal..whilst the family arrive and (after you refuse their generous offer of them paying for your bike, with your suspected broken back) and they say loudly "oh it's one of them is it"..

So my point is, best of fucking luck being a cyclist..you are riding a death trap.
You will be lucky to survive the week, and frankly after being hit by a car, you won't want to.

Depends where, though. This guy has a lot of good stuff on this channel about the Dutch. This one a huge plus for a particular city in Finland (not so much Canada, where we are wimps when it comes to winter activity)

Jesus refry, just keep being you.

I've just come through a cancer operation, had my bike nicked and split up with a girlfriend.

But I can still come on here and think "fucking hell, at least I'm not as miserable as this cunt"

I thank you for your service

I was shocked to have my bike nicked from the street below my flat when I lived in London.

Then I remembered I had paid 20 quid for it at an East End market (a bargain).

The cirrrrrrcle. Cirrrrrrcle of petty theft.

P.S. All the best for a full recovery.
