Well done the All Blacks! Of late I've felt a little uneasy about the Boks occupying the top spot. Of course the distress it caused you Kiwis made up for any guilt. But now the burden of expectation is lifted.
I genuinely feel we have an opportunity to knock the AB's over in one of these tests. Both teams missing some key players. I am hoping Kolbe is back for at least one of the games. But whatever the result its wonderful to see test rugby. We've had such a shit year here. Family farms burned down, businesses destroyed, tens of thousands of people dying of Covid. Saturday rugby is something to look forward to when the week gets rocky.

Oz / India aren't number 1 in test cricket.

That's the one that has me sooooo chuffed. A long road since the time when England and Oz wouldn't play us in other than 2 or 3 day games.

Rankings never bodder me. The All Blacks can take it permanently. When our lot start talking about World Champions, world nr 1 then you know our loss is close very close.
First the test rugby, now the test cricket. We should get paid overtime for all this extra spiritual guardianship.

Congrats NZ although I've never been convinced that this Kendix method was any more credible than Duckworth Lewis as a system.
We had to put up with a contrived tie-breaker in a world cup final. We will accept any bauble that falls onto our side of the fenceTorquemada 1420 wrote: Mon Sep 20, 2021 10:02 am Congrats NZ although I've never been convinced that this Kendix method was any more credible than Duckworth Lewis as a system.
