I really do think we should take a minute to recognise how wrong the people who were saying "rugby behind a paywall will encourage spectators to the game" actually were.
Crowds collapsed.
The "paywall crowd", really did become quite nasty towards us TV spectators, and insisted that free to air rugby was destroying the game.

How long was it before welsh tugby (yup, its wank)came crawling back to the beeb?
