You are safe with Appletizer, not Ceres product.

It isn't Pioneer Foods or CFJ, it's Elgin. Nothing to do with PepsiCo

Can see both sides of it. As someone running my own business working long hours that developed into a serious medical condition there's no sense killing yourself.

That said, it does define you a bit and I'd be my own worst enemy sat round the house all day.

Maybe somewhere in the middle - especially helps a bundle if you don't need quite so much money and so more easily choose what to do with your time.

Four years. Kids on the way now, need to cut hours down to even survive another four but there are things about it to enjoy.

I had it when I was 45. I worked with an OT and speech therapist for a couple of years. Physically back to maybe 90 percent of where I was. I still mix up some words and had a real roller coaster with my psychological state which is fairly balanced now.

It's an interesting industry. I love learning about it. A year in. I enjoy being part of the product development and we have the support of some really outstanding chefs who I know and have built kitchens for. My wife runs it completely.
From my side which is the factory I think I am just tired of always being responsible for so much and all the stress that entails. I would love to be able to stop worrying about things.

Glad to hear, and of the changes you made. Only at the stage of being handed meds myself and scans to come but the single biggest wake up call of my life.

Sards - the 'always on' element gets to me as well. One thing I will say about most 9 to 5s is that there is a 5. Marathon not a sprint, and it can break you if you don't periodically tear yourself away from it or get help in. Great that you're well established with a team, essential to have good people around you.

Yeah but you're still young. I could still work as I just push a pen but I would rather just relax, do light gardening and watch sport (cough).

Nah, I've lost contracts and been made redundant many times.

Work doesn't define me - it's just something I do.

Fair play if you have a career that you enjoy. I like most of what I do but I already have too many outside interests and have plenty more to fill the day.

Work just pays for it

People don't need work, they need money. It's just hard to have one without the other.
