I don't think I have ever seen a Bok player play worse than Herschel Jantjies in this match.

1) The token SA SH is rubbish. Bottled a broken play ball earlier when he kicked at it as if it was a dog turd. Keeps putting high balls to Mapimpi who is actually worse in the air than the French backline. And he's so absent at rucks that Le Roux is doing his job too often....... and Le Roux is having a 'mare.

2) Clear fwd pass in build up for Sco try.

Which the refs are very keen to prevent. Always a danger nowadays you will give a penalty. Fagerson is brutal for doing it.

Pretty 'meh' so far.
Scotland lucky to get that try; Van der Merwe has had to save a lot of shite ball.
Apart from the 10 seconds run up to the try, South Africa have shown no creativity. And changing the whole front row 20 seconds before half-time is a dick move.
Wouldn't say the ref was bad, but there were some dodgy calls.

Hope the second half gets a lot better.

Thought the penalty against Etzebeth was harsh though, his hands only hit the ground in my mind because the ball was on the ground and he was getting his hands under it.

Yeah. That was never a pen. But Gardener has made it clear what he sees as acceptable so both sides need to adhere to that.
