We are really starting to look good again, despite have problems with a couple of key positions.

England looked pretty poor last night, we really should be able to win that game. I will lose my shit if we go 3 from 3 this tour

England looking poor and still beat the Wallabies?

That's not a good sign.

The Wobs easily beat us earlier on this year, twice.

England by 35.

9 and 15.

I'd start with Reinach and Steyn.

10? Was Junkies good enough to keep Pollard out?

Bongi hasn't been great......

Do we start with Lood or Mostert?

Junkies did enough.

You forgot about Kriel.

Did Kriel do anything wrong?
He made a try saving tackle.
Otherwise the ball never really went his way.

I'd like to see us start with the bomb squad front row against England. H Junkies has to go and Reinach must play full 80 if possible. Pollard to start too. I'm OK with Elton with 20-30 mins at the end.

I'm happy with winning games but this losing the first half thing is risky. Starting the BS front row gives us a chance to accumulate points and territory via possible scrum penalties. England playing a rookie flyhalf and fullback, as good as they are, may not work two games in a row. Especially if Farrell is out injured.

Agreed. Reinach needs to play 80. I'd rather Frans comes on later to save our bacon if needed. I'd hate to play the final 20 minutes with Willie de poo and Elton and possibly Hershelle.

Bongi's killing it in the scrums and his lineout throwing is pretty spot on. I haven't seen too many flaws in his game. He's not a flash hooker and has a decent work rate in the tight loose exchanges.

Why change with something that works?

I agree on Reinach for Herschel but the rest can stay as is.

Maybe we can timber our gameplan like in the WC final. Less kicking more ball in hand.

More than enough
We actually saw our backline yesterday
If Pollard can't relearn to take the ball to the line and pass without a wind up he can fokof as far as I am concerned

Isn't Nkosi available to replace Kriel?

Lood will start, Cobus will start, Pollard will start, Willie will start. Game plan will be the same as always, and it has been the same in the RWC final btw.

Agree on Pollard. Both tries was when we actually took it wide.

Pollard scored 2 tries against the All Blacks as a rookie by doing just that. They were so surprised at a Saffer flyhalf doing it that they just waved him through. I thought he was going to go on to become a better version of Honiball.

The coaches have completely neutered him though. They won't allow him to run or kick. They even bring Willie in as a first receiver in many instances.

I was really hoping Pollard would come on in the 12 slot outside Elton…

So we won. Fantastic. Haven't seen the game. Seen a lot of bitching about Herschel and Willie. I wonder how long Nienaber is going to pretend that nothing is wrong as long as he wins.

Loved the Mapimpi try where Kolisi set him up. My word but I can not fathom how Kolisi still gets criticism. The Sharks have taken a broken player and turned him into a beast. It's great to have the Sharks captaining the boks again.

Why the critics on NieNaber?

He is by far the best around. You should listen Kolisi comments about him & Rassie.

No way they will coach the Sharks.

South African rugby twitter out in full support of Willie. After watching the game again I don't think he was that bad. But his strengths and contribution are being seriously over hyped. At 32 his physical decline is becoming evident. He's clearly highly trusted as part of the Bok brains trust. A lieutenant on the field for Rassnaber. He's like a Soviet political commissar. On the field to ensure that the Boks don't start doing anything radical like play flamboyant rugby.

Nienaber came out defending Herschels performance based on the fact that he is not used to NH conditions and a slippery ball and needs time to adjust................

" I spoke to Herschel after the match. He has only played 70 minutes of rugby in Northern hemisphere conditions......"

Nienaber is obsessed with minutes.....

' we want to build momentum going into 2022 but we want to do it by giving guys oppurtunities and getting experience into the younger guys..."

Frans Steyn and Reinach in for Le Roux and Jantjies, otherwise keep the same team. I'll play Pollard of the bench again.

He has no space or time to run with the ball under the current Bok systems. Only Kolbe can look good on the right wing in our team. Kriel just has to keep chasing and tackling.
