JM: you're very bitter - didn't think you were that kind of poster.
And you're extremely one-eyed, and I already know you're that kind of poster. Why on earth wouldn't I be bitter about a disgraceful miscarriage of justice? Verstappen did nothing on the track to deserve that win - it was handed to him by the officials who wanted an exciting final lap and were willing to sacrifice the laws and Hamilton's title to get it. It's hugely damaging for the credibility of a sport I once loved and it's hard for me to understand how anyone can look at it and go "ah, well, fair enough". By all means, cheer on your guy, but don't for a second pretend this was anything other than a title decided in his favour by the officials at the expense of the competition.
And I have to repeat, this is nothing to do with Max - I dislike him intensely, but I don't really care about his whinging today or his team's attitude. They basically did nothing wrong. It's the FIA that embarrassed themselves today. It was an appalling decision that was justified by the race director as them wanting a race - i.e. fuck the laws, they wanted some last lap excitement. Absolutely ridiculous.
