Well done Italy and Sturginho!!!

Really deserved that and fantastic for Italian rugby

I know pressures are completely different but really striking how much better at decision making that team were compared to the full team.

Interesting hearing the commentators almost gloating earlier on (this is not an English dig) about how superior the club teams were that the English lads play for. Maybe that’s an issue.

Congratulations Italian posters. Fully deserved. To nil England is very special, not many teams will do that.

They were massively over-doing that. Barely any senior club experience in this bunch. I'm so happy we don't have to listen to either of them regularly. Dewi Morris

So, the behaviour of the England doctor needs to be dealt with. If he doesn’t know the protocols, or if he’s deliberately putting pressure on the referee to go outside the protocols, he needs to be removed

Agreed. Physio as well.
It was very South African

In all seriousness though, it needs to get stamped out right now. Throw the book at the pair of them, we just can’t have that

While they do over egg the 'elite' nature of the English clubs, there always seems an element of English players being really fucking thick and I think it's because they have the feel for the game coached out of them really young. Now even low level amateur clubs model themselves on pro teams most of these lads have had game plans hammered into them since under 9s, they've not had to figure it out on their own.

Hell of a performance by the Italians though,. I've rarely seen a side so dominant in the scrum.

Agree with the thick English players remark. Why are we always the one’s caught out with the quick line out, the tap and go, the 2x’s table.

This refs a fussy git at the start.

Refs are supposed to have been cracking down on it this season. Enforcement has been variable.

Yeah. 2 marginal calls that other refs would have let run. Let's see if he's as picky when Eng are the offenders.

3 really, really pedantic decisions in a row there. Fine if he’s consistent of course

Take Smith off, disgrace to the shirt. Didn't even kick it then. Eddie must be livid.

I'd love to think so, but it's unlikely. Eddie's sat through several years of him being actively poor in most of his caps and apparently been fine with it. Youngs is on the bench today and I suspect he's only not starting this one because it's Italy.

Kay's spot on about the ref there. If the independent match doctor is still reviewing whether or not a player should be off for an HIA it's not the officials' place to rush things.

I'm not sure Malins is the , man for the crash there, but the forwards did well to get on the front foot.
