I think that pack is going to get humped to be honest, backs are more on a par (Dupont excepted)

There is still this misconception that Scottish packs are smaller and weaker than everyone else.

Right, so, nice to see Darge there, will make the game very interesting.

I've absolutely no idea what Tuipulotu is doing there again, actually makes me a bit angry.

I am going on what i saw against Wales, the Welsh pack which is pretty average definately got the better of the Scottish one, and the French pack i think is light years better than the Welsh one.

The French pack is brutal, but I don't think we will suffer anymore than any other pack against them

Doesn’t mean it won’t be dominated by the French, but that’s still a decent Scotland pack. I’m not a fan of Gilchrist, but he’s OK. Darge and Bradbury are on form. My only concern is that Hodgson is a bit raw on the bench.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Yeah, very surprised to see that. Not saying there's anything wrong with the player as such because he's good in URC but he didn't fit in against Wales and the backline looked very disjointed.

Me too. Just seemed to really blunt our attacking options and made Finn look a bit silly at times. Something Finn can do all by himself.

If I were Sam Johnson I'd be feeling pretty demotivated right now. Doesn't seem to do much wrong sprinkled with a fair amount of doing things very right.

If Darge, Watson and Bradbury step up I feel we have a chance. Even then we need our backs to do better than vs Wales, not just wee Darcy doing his thing.

The backrow needs to be in this to give us a chance. Wales targeted that area and Scotland didn't adapt at all. Hopefully a couple of weeks of training might have given Finn & Tuipulotu time to gel a bit better. Hopefully.

Our centres have been underwhelming for a while. Too many of out attacks have relied on fine being on his A game with cross kicks or big miss passes. I don't think Tuipolotu is the answer but in a pack light of close carriers I can see the attraction. Although Lang has done well crashing it up for Edinburgh and can distribute too.

This French team playing like the best of the 80’s and 90’senior teams. Endless support, cutting outrageous angles, accurate. Wonderful to watch

Would the better option for Scotland there to have given them a drop out for touching the ball down over their line rather than a scrum for the knock on?

As I said before, I think she has been poor but her TMO and rest of the team are really letting her down as well. I really think the TMOs have to shut the fuck up

She's pitiful. Won't matter in this one but another idiot like her cost in the Ire game.

Another wrong call from that scrum.

Clueless. Sco ball carrier ran into his own man getting up from the floor. Obstruction.
