Where are the Welsh ?
Wales played exactly as they had to plY. They learned from Scotland mistakes. Biggar has a great game.
The French need to stop targeting Woki at lineout, the Welsh systematically target him.
And we need more pace and aggression when we go for route 1.

Watkin and this version of JD2 aren’t blessed with flair or pace.salanya wrote: Fri Mar 11, 2022 8:49 pm Well, Wales doing better than expected - if only they could run an attacking backline. Centres seem very uncomfortable in attack.

Biggar has had a great game because Ntamack is sh*te at any form of tactical game management. Being totally schooled in what an intl FH really looks like.TheFrog wrote: Fri Mar 11, 2022 8:53 pm Wales played exactly as they had to plY. They learned from Scotland mistakes. Biggar has a great game.

Saying in the coverage we need to see Not Toby carrying more. He looks knackered. Not sure how much we’ll see him making big yards in this half.
He was wading through treacle after 35 minutes. Big problem for Wales - one of their best players.ScarfaceClaw wrote: Fri Mar 11, 2022 9:07 pm Saying in the coverage we need to see Not Toby carrying more. He looks knackered. Not sure how much we’ll see him making big yards in this half.

The only +ve with him is if he gets subbed or Jalibert gets fit. Getting nowhere near a RWC with him at 10

Why couldn't they play this shite against us ?
Bad luck though England; Edwards is going to absolutely flog them before they meet you.
But gripping.

There's been not much wrong in defence though: albeit Wal impotent in attack. The issue is game management. You are playing a side with no offensive threat so why keep them in the game by aimlessly kicking the ball back to them? Quite. Although this Welsh backline could have the ball for the rest of the game and not break the gainline

Ok Torq. That was poor by Ntamack. Aimless kicks that are going to cost France.

It’s almost carried on into next weeks matches.
In the end it wasn't the penalty anyway, so it worked out. Do agree that it was advantage over by then.
