Enjoying this so far
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot, But he'll remember with advantages, What feats he did that day
Not had a decent 9 since Paul Griffen
You mean Paulo Griffoni?
“It was a pet, not an animal. It had a name, you don't eat things with names, this is horrific!”
Did we know that Steyn was so slow? Jesus.
Anyway, Price has had a couple of great runs but looks so ponderous and unsure what to do at rucks and even scrums. Finn not on it again.
I’m just going to say Johnson and leave it there. For now.
Anyway, enjoying the game and have to say that Luke Pierce showing why he is the best ref around at the moment- despite the wrong call on that maul scrum before the Italy try

The score feels tough on Italy, that intercept from Price was a sliding doors moment.
I have to say, I’ve watched it half a dozen times and I am pretty sure Darge knocked on in the pickup for the first try. At the very least it should have been checked.
I presume the offside was checked for our second too. I’ve not seen a good angle but it looked tight.

Think I heard them say the 2nd was fine.KingBlairhorn wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 3:12 pm The score feels tough on Italy, that intercept from Price was a sliding doors moment.

Varney had a good game against France (as usual, Italy saves its good game for France....) and then he and Garbisi were awful against England. Where is he today?

What the fuck is the line out pish from Scotland- trying to over complicate a restart play
Turners arrows aren't great and through selection have left ourselves short of jumpers so trying to mix it up (I assume).Deveron Boy wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 3:23 pm What the fuck is the line out pish from Scotland- trying to over complicate a restart play

Fucking hell. This really is a match worthy of deciding the wooden spoon.
Looks about 12

Can't see the point of attempting that penalty kick.

I need to cease watching games involving Italy's seniors. Always ends up with the feeling that I just wasted another 80 mins of my life.KingBlairhorn wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 3:34 pm Fucking hell. This really is a match worthy of deciding the wooden spoon.

I only ever put them on as background to something else I'm doing like practicing bass or folding laundry.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 3:36 pmI need to cease watching games involving Italy's seniors. Italy are getting murdered at the breakdown, scraping slow crap back or getting turned over.

The latter appears an apt euphemism for them.sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 3:37 pmI only ever put them on as background to something else I'm doing like practicing bass or folding laundry.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 3:36 pmI need to cease watching games involving Italy's seniors. If it was a French director there would have been about 1,000 replays of it, and not the ones we got, either.
Pass thrown outside the 22 and received well inside it.Hal Jordan wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 3:43 pmIf it was a French director there would have been about 1,000 replays of it, and not the ones we got, either.
Anyway the Italians seem to have given up

That's a very nice try indeed. The wee lad will be beaming on the drive home with his parents.

If Italy could maintain this sort of intensity for more of the match...

Not looking forward to seeing Scotland’s missed tackle stats here

Appalling game in that respect from both teams.
