Well, certainly not for the first penalty on the 22, but also not for the one you're talking aboutTorquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 5:34 pm Simmons was straight in the side there for that cleanout.

Shit technique from Sinckler, to spark himself, but not the point, ref shouldn't have allowed the quick tap (from the wrong spot).shaggy wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 5:38 pm Also, ref will not score too well allowing the quick tap for the try when Sinkler was clearly out of it.

Yeah, have to say that I've been impressed with the grit. The game largely lurching from set piece to setpiece will help conserve energy for the end of the game too.Paddington Bear wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 5:37 pm Have to say that’s a hell of an effort. Assume we’ll lose but can’t fault the guts
Ireland, like so many teams seem to these days, have managed being a man up very poorly.
Pretty good effort from England in that half - but being a man down is going to really tell as the game goes on. At least it was only Ewels and not someone half decent ! Such a shame the game has been ruined by the red card - I think it would have been a really good contest. Now it's just a question of how long it takes Ireland to secure their BP.

If those studio lights are too hot he’s going to start dripping like Rudy Guiliani.

Plus I don't think Sinkler is sparked, just being a bit lazy as he had heard the whistle.
You realise he’s gone off for an HIA?Blackmac wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 5:48 pm

Greedy bollocks there. Draw and pass and it’s a try.

For all their strengths, Ireland are really poor at exploiting space.
