It is a sad day I have wasted 17 and half years on that site and for all its faults it was occasionally comedy gold and a mine of useful information. Plus a good place to go and sneer at left leaning folk ;)

Does this place allow name changes? I seem to remember a stern warning on PR when registering that the name you picked you were stuck with. I suppose that helps stop sock puppeting and similar mischief.

We've mended the football forum- massive job- and it's starting to regenerate. it'll take time. We may move it to XenForo but not sure yet.

So, you can guarantee this will be fit for purpose and there'll be two stages.

Most of the time when one somebody from PR has tried to bring their schtick over here, they have been roundly ignored and have then left due to not getting the attention they craved.

I hope this can continue.
