'Yeet' is one of my favourite 'new' words...

https://www.merriam-webster.com/words-a ... nd-history
Yeet is a slang word that functions broadly with the meaning “to throw,” but is especially used to emphasize forcefulness and a lack of concern for the thing being thrown. (You don’t yeet something if you’re worried that it might break.)
I fully accept I've entered the 'grumpy old man' stage of life, but there's a perfectly good word for that: chuck.
verb: chuck

1.
throw (something) carelessly or casually.
"someone chucked a brick through the window"
And I'd say that people have used 'chuck' to emphasize forcefulness as well, but if you want to go with the above definition, then we also have hurl!
verb: hurl

throw (an object) with great force.
"rioters hurled a brick through the windshield of a car"
"Learnings" has seemingly permeated top flight rugby and it causes me continual aggravation hearing it on telly. Again, we already have a word for it: "lesson(s)". But, no, rugby coaches and players are happy to say "We'll take learnings from this game...".
I first encountered 'yeet' towards the tail end of my teaching in 2014/15, I was in my mid-20s and it made me feel ancient. I've seen it used in a number of contexts beyond just a substitute for throw, bloody young 'uns can't even codify their new nonsense words.

Dancer !

Never mind all the other shite they do to try & reduce obesity; if they spent the same money getting kids involved in dance, they'd probably massively increase general fitness, & instill life long good habits.

You won't find a fitter group of individuals than dancers.

Not far from Lickey Hills( which is where this school is close to) is an area called Quarry Bank, part of Dudley. Its prounced Quarry Bonk by the locals with their black country accents.
