Fantastic Saders-Blues lineout analysis re. Cullen Grace
He's a good player, but he was also a good player before final, just not too many keyboard warriors had noticed and so weren't suddenly making him an AB. You can bet he is in MAB s anyway with Fosters suggestion, as him and McMillan meet and discuss who should be in there. I reckon if he reproduces a couple of times against Irish and ABs struggle at lineout he will be looked at got RC or EOYT. But I will add he's always been a good lineout forward, and it's his alrounf game he probably needs tp prove himself.
And will international teams play a Kurt Eklund against the ABs so we can take advantage.

You're never going to win 10 lineouts against the throw in grade-A internationals. But 3 genuine lineout targets give you a damn good chance of winning your own ball, which is what really matters. A loosie trio of Cane, Papalii and Savea or PGus achieves precisely the opposite. Sotutu would help that problem quite a bit, but creates others. Grace's all-round game, for what's needed at international level, is far better than any of them, even before taking lineouts into account.Dan54 wrote: Thu Jun 23, 2022 8:06 pm He's a good player, but he was also a good player before final, just not too many keyboard warriors had noticed and so weren't suddenly making him an AB. He'll get his chance.
