If you want to see all the nut jobs come out to play, pop on to twitter and search for CERN. They’re all going completely whack a doodle because they’re turning the LHC on again after it’s latest refit.

The world has gone to shit since they turned it off in 2019. So here’s hoping turning it back on again works.

They're trying to make a Time Machine!

Time is really interesting from a physics point of view. We can slow it down but not make it go backwards. We have absolutely no idea why it’s different from the other dimensions. And yet there’s some ways we can do non time limited communications using quantum linked particle pairs. Which somehow seem to communicate backwards in time. It’s mental.

Just read a belter, someone is saying CERN is being turned on to activate the nano particles in the vaccines.

My daughter is going to the LHC this week.
I am jealous tbh.

I’ve been. It’s great. Paradoxically, the best time to visit is when it’s switched off, as you can then go into the tunnels.

I think I read somewhere that the electricity bill is about €48m a year to run the LHC.

Maybe the directionality of time is not inherent but is imposed by our minds in order to make sense of things?

I've seen that proposed before but I think the general view is that If it was just imposed by our minds then things that aren't governed by our minds would show some evidence of being able to navigate time like any other direction.

mm, well it's true that things seem to change in a constant way as they move in time (Aging) Maybe that's relevant.

Probably needing to put even more 50 pence pieces in the meter these days, what with the rise on energy prices.

I read in the "Time Travel weekly" magazine that they actually managed to build on in 2052.

But we have Entropy to show us the direction that time is going

Maybe. If we perceived time as running the other way I guess we'd have anti-entropy.
