Granted Ireland are a serious team these days, but new Zealand look bloody terrible. Probably the worst I can remember them in my lifetime.

... and with that penalty over for the Irish there's nothing else for us except change halfback and hooker right now and go for broke.

Ireland's defence has been really good on the whole

You can tell Foster has been coaching them this week.

Play like headless chickens, that’ll fool them.

A sad shot there of Foster looking like a broken man.

If Ireland score another 7, it will be the biggest loss by the All Blacks ever.

Why?

Be honest and step down. He doesn't have the chops for the big seat.....his arrogance doesn't deserve sympathy. Nothing personal against him - he just isn't good enough for thr job

How dumb can the Irish 4 be?

They should have been at least 2 more tries to the good.

Yes.
You can only hope that he'll do the right thing and concede.

Yeah, I'd get it if they were closer to the line, a score looked likely and there was less breathing room on the scoreboard, but with things as they are it's about as boneheaded a penalty as you'll see.

Ireland 4 gave away an astonishingly stupid breakdown penalty around halfway, ABs kick to the corner, TMO reviewing whether they've scored from a pick and go.

The frightening thing is if Ireland had played better than average they would have put at least another 2 or 3 tries on us.

This is a nightmare AB's side - poor skills, no game plan, no plan B, no discipline and no leadership.

I don't think it was this bad even under Mitchell.

Good try ABs but that whole sequence was built from the dumbest penalty 1m from the refs nose when he was even given a 2nd chance not to commit.

Ahh, felt like watching England again.

Easily the better side out there today and a fully deserved first victory in NZ.

Well done Ireland.

Who’s your likely opponent in 1/4 final?
