A little ironic that it was Care's best mate Monye who brought up that Eddie hasn't been prepared to yank anyone early recently.
I’ve liked Care over the years butJust wasn’t his match and the change put too much pressure on him.

Yeah, realistically, what does JVP change in the remaining 3 minutes of the half?

You know, I was just thinking why not leave to 1/2 time and pretend it was an injury.
That?sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 10:53 amYeah, realistically, what does JVP change in the remaining 3 minutes of the half?

Repeat pattern from last week. Aus stupidity really gifting Eng points.
TF it's 1/2 time. I need a coffee to wake me up from this one.

He is. Subbing someone three minutes before HT is adding salt to the wound and rubbing it in whilst everyone is watching.

Smith and Porter with bad misses in defence vs Aus just being daft. It's a race to the bottom!Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 10:55 am Repeat pattern from last week. Aus stupidity really gifting Eng points.

He gave Hill! a high pass under similar pressure to go forward earlier, I'm not sure he does, at least not as clean.

So show the ads during half time and the water breaks, not hoping you can squash them in as a scrum is called.

Hmm. JVP handled that attack very well. Prickish but it’s worked
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot, But he'll remember with advantages, What feats he did that day
Yup, he's a vindictive little shit. This way he gets to say he's making the big call instead of having to admit that swapping the 9s again was a mistake in the first place.
England showing a couple of things in attack but are mostly a big sloshing bag of piss again.

It looks like slow motion cw with earlier.
Are they really doing that?

He got the call wrong, but not expecting Care to play like garbage (regardless of how well JVP did last week) isn't crazy.JM2K6 wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 10:57 am Yup, he's a vindictive little shit. He's topped the prem try assist charts for two years running. You don't do that without having some accuracy in the red zone. I reckon he'd be fine in that situation.Raggs wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 10:56 amSmith and Porter with bad misses in defence vs Aus just being daft. Yep. Crazy. They let most the water break go without one since the commentary were doing "analysis".
I'm hoping they've got a quota to hit and they're just trying squash them in asap.

Alex Goode is fantastic in the prem week in week out, but couldn't ever bring it to international. Care had a very good international career, but he's been poor all 37 minutes today, I'd not have backed him for that last bit.Margin__Walker wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 11:00 amHe's topped the prem try assist charts for two years running. He has been off the pace and shouldn't really have been starting. He could have executed a simple pass a yard out though.
Pulling a player 2 minutes before half time though is shit house.

That wasn't a simple pass, and he'd already passed a short pass virtually over Hills head.Margin__Walker wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 11:04 am He has been off the pace and shouldn't really have been starting. He could have executed a simple pass a yard out though.

Whatever pros and cons the final result was good so a very moot discussion.Margin__Walker wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 11:06 amYeah, just watched the replay. Care has done that quite often in his England career when starting which is how Youngs has amassed more caps. Youngs had a slightly higher floor. They both tend to look better as the sub than starting. Time to move on from Youngs and Care.Raggs wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 10:59 amHe got the call wrong, but not expecting Care to play like garbage (regardless of how well JVP did last week) isn't crazy.JM2K6 wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 10:57 am Yup, he's a vindictive little shit.
