Was thinking of signing up for this (again).
9.99 per month for Sky.

Are any clubs giving out discount codes? Ulster had one last year but that is no longer valid (thinly veiled attempt to get a code from somebody)

Or is there another way to do it?

Thanks for any help

Sky's offer here (for both BT and Premier Sports) is €17 per month for 6 months and then €34 per month after that.

URC TV is €60 for the whole year. Think I'll just get that and either go to the pub or ask my friend when it comes to the European games.

Shit's just getting far too expensive.

Promo code ELITE80 worked for me a couple of weeks ago for an annual subscription for £80 via Sky. Be careful you are not just signing up for the premierplayer and you are logging in as a Sky customer.

Cancel your subscription after a few days, it will auto-renew at full cost (£120) for the year.

£9.99 a month is pretty decent to be fair to them

I have an add-on subscription to Prem Sports with Virgin for a tenner per month.

I've read from people on the Weegie board that the premier player sometimes doesn't work properly (it doesn't happen a lot but it does happen), so that's maybe something to consider if you're thinking about an online subscription with PS. I've never had an issue with the Virgin feed, presumably the Sky one will be the same.

On the other hand, I don't have access to games on demand, which you get with the online PS sub, but I could record all the games over the weekend if I wanted to watch during the week at my lee-zure.

Yip went for 9.99 subscription. That is one less Partagas Short for me each month.

Yes, had that the last couple of seasons and worked well but we can’t get Virgin in the new place.

I know that last time I had the player I couldn’t start the game from the beginning if i missed the start, or pause for too long, or obviously record, which was a mammoth pain in the arse as the games usually start around kids bedtime

I used Premier last season for T14 and canned it this year for a few reasons
1) They showed f**k all T14 games anyway. Might be different for the URC.
2) The commentating is excruciatingly bad. I mean "would rather push rusty nails into my ears" awful.
3) Their web viewing option is pretty crappy. It's not as bad as SkyGo but still subject to freezes and jumping frame rates and I don't think the catch up worked (or even existed?).

I only use it over Sat satelitte.

I very rarely watch any rugby apart from the game. I do not watch the pre-amble, half-time or post-match talking bits. I do not watchany rugby shows either apart from the see the action. So turning down the sound during a match is really no an issue for me.
I get my insights into tactics and plays from training and our coaches.

I wish there was an option to turn off f**king commentary for all sporting events. When I go to a match, I don't (usually) have some tedious ***t next to me giving a running commentary and my enjoyment is not impaired by its absence.

Ah yes, the sort you really want to ask to go and stand somewhere else.

Just turn off the volume.
