Also, just watched series 4 of Ghosts on BBC iPlayer. Tremendous. If you’ve not watched it before, binge it from the start, it’s fantastic.

I watched the first couple of minutes.are you sure??

I found the ghosts head on the ground and the independent disobedient body painfully unfunny.

Likewise with one of the ghosts talking away and whilst everyone cleared the room while he was still going on, also lacking in humour a tad.

Does it get better?

The previous three seasons I've enjoyed, more chuckling away than belly laughing. But this series there's something in every episode that made me cackle

Yeah, weakest season, got a bit silly, but overall very good. It's not a patch on The Shield though.

I watched most of The Devil In Ohio over the last few days. Satanic Cult is always going to be enough to pique my interest. Bit of a damp squib, though. They seemed torn between making it about the impact of absorbing an escaped cultist into a family, trying to conduct a police investigation into a cult and high school drama. Just ended up giving none of those angles enough time or attention.

As an aside, the flaming, none-more-gay best friend character trope really needs to be consigned to the bin. So over-done at this point. How about showing a regular gay bloke for a change?

Yeah it was nothing to write home about, but nothing to get upset over either. Decent enough space heist action. Probably would've worked better if they'd gone all in on that rather than shoe horning in the unnecessary origin story of a known and liked character. Fucking masterpiece compared to the Star Wars episode film that came before it.

I actually enjoyed Solo, it was more in the spirit of the original trilogy than some of the dreadful actual Star Wars films.

Technically gorgeous and suitably gritty, but got bogged down with terrible character development and fan service.

You don't care one jot when the final scene plays out because we don't really know anything about them. Was fine but could've been spectacular.

I enjoyed it, I thought the cinematography was good, the stunts were fun, the story was well-constructed with a fair deal of pathos at the end.

It may not have been the best of Craig's outings, but I thought it brought his tenure to a satisfying end.


On The Old Man, we're enjoying it, but you know it's going to go on, I just hope it doesn't turn out like 24, which went from an account of one day to about six weeks.

Rewatched Moon Knight. Still amazing.

Loved She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. A massive fuck you to the gatekeepers and sad little incel twunts. Marvel knew they'd never win them over, so they gave them the middle finger every single episode.
