UAE have clinched their first ever win in an ICC World Cup tournament! Namibia fall short of the Super 12s. Netherlands are joining Sri Lanka in the Super 12s!
 have to feel for Wiese. If hit it obe meter higher.
Wiese was superb. The damage was done earlier, and he was just left with too much to do.

Ireland racing towards the target, although they have just lost Balbirnie. Will need an England-style collapse from here to lose, though. Looks like a WC main section with no Windies in it.

Kom nou Iere julle lekker dinge! Love this by the Irish. A bit sad for the Windies but they've been crap and undeserving.

Congrats to Ireland. Scotland in a spot of bother here, even Munsey struggling to get going and a couple of wickets could leave them well short. Both sides look a bit nervous

Zimbabwe, we need another African country. Namibia was unlucky.

Early wicket for Scotland - exactly what they needed. Game on

They're defending a low target, well below par if the other matches there are any indication. So they will have to take a fair few wickets early on. Decent start.

2nd over, 2nd wicket. In with a sniff now.

Obviously, it's Scotland so Zimbabwe will win on a no-ball 6 off the last ball needing 7 to win with 9 wickets down.

I'll have to keep watching for you Scots; I just turned back, after going out for awhile after seeing the opening wicket, & bang there's another

Aye, this might be tight but only if a few wickets fall soon. Otherwise it's Zimbabwe at a canter.

Bad luck Scotland, that target was just too low.

They go home after destroying the Windies and having Ireland completely on the ropes - that second half of the Ireland innings where they had to go at 12 RPO for 8 overs and did it comes back to haunt Scotland.

Hard to say anything but that Zimbabwe completely outplayed Scotland there. Absorbing match

Fucking aye.

Go on Scotland, what a terrific result! Really good all round performance, great knock from Munsey, with a couple of hndy wee in ings to support it. Watt the pick of the bowlers and Leask and Wheal also excellent. Good catching and all round support in the field. Need to fire into the next two games now to make sure we get through to the next round. Would be very Scotland to win this game then not qualify...
Poor Biffer, but you got it absolutely right. Thrashed the Windies, but then lost to Ireland and Zim and failed to qualify.

The loss to Ireland was crucial. Scotland were cruising in that game but somehow managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Still well done to Ireland, Zimbabwe and the Netherlands for qualifying.

Bad luck, as you say batters didn't give the bowlers a defendable target, but the team had a pretty good tournament, in whats an incredibly competitive section of the sport; so turning over a Tier 1, & putting the wind up a Tier 0.75 team is a good result.

The associates just need more games, & that seems to be gradually happening.

Crims send us in to bat. Bracewell not in the team is the biggest surprise.

Looks like a good prospect. I saw a piece in Cricinfo about how tall batsmen in T20 have a big mechanical advantage in boundary hitting. Bat speed so much faster.

Disbelief.
3 overs, 3 classy Aussie bowlers who usually splinter us, and each of them has been carted.
