That offside is going to cost us the match.

Can't beat the #1 ranked team without a goal kicker and a competent flyhalf.

CJ Stander still saying, "We", referring to Ireland

Not if Sexton slots this penalty...which he will.

Also, it's quite obvious we don't have a kicker that will be able to convert said try in the first place.

Agree on all. Poor performance not deserving a win here.

Even conceding the try, we pushed it out to the corner

All the hard defensive and forward graft let down by not being able to slot penalties and having a flash back three but no effective means of getting the ball to them. Oh, and trying an up and under game with midget chasers.

Boks never seem to understand that when you are chasing the match with 5 minutes to go, you can't give away possession.

Well done Ireland. SA only have themselves to blame there, appalling game management and kicking throughout

Congrats Ireland.

Fuck, I really hate this loss. It doesn't hurt as much as the last time, but it sucks. We were terrible today, but we could still have won that.
Willemse cost us this game. He was horrible and I don't think it's going to be any better against France or England.

Superb Test. Right result. Not as confident as the Irish commentators that they're nailed on for the world cup, but they'll be a serious threat for sure.

Nienaber must take full responsibility for the shortsighted and irresponsible failure to introduce a flyhalf when Pollard got injured

Congratulations Ireland.

We have a lot of things to work on. But we have the players and we do have some time to iron things out.

I don't like us playing so poorly, but this loss isn't bugging me as much as I thought it would.

Errors or not, Willie is worth his weight in gold. We desperately need Am. Willemse is problematic.

In terms of props, who else do we have?

Well done Ireland, composure did it in the end.

As a Saffa, however, I need to hold on to some positivity.

Nr. 1 team in the world, at home, barely won against nr. 3, who, lets be honest, did not get out of second gear because of: no kicker, weird scrum decisions etc. etc.

Would you rather win a close one in 2022 or 2023?

Ja, the succession planning was very shit. I know covid and the Lions tour made it difficult to build depth where we needed it, but still.

10 has been a problem for a while now. We need to fix it. At this point I don't even care who gets the nod...Chamberlain, Libbok, Hendrikse, Smith, Du Preez...but we need a specialist and somebody that can kick goals.

Old school wrestle with the game won by the 2 bits of quality both provided by Ireland.

Wright should never have gone past Penaud, was given far too much room to run. Realy well taken try overall, but it shouldn't have gone that far.
