2007 at Murrayfield. Three interception tries in the first 6 minutes gave Italy a 21-0 lead. They went on to win 37-17.charltom wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 2:02 pmRuckgate, 2017?sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 1:30 pm Big test for Italy now. When did they last have a solid lead over a tier 1 nation, let alone with much of the match to play?
They need to keep their heads and stick to what they were doing well.
Otherwise I have some recollection of them having led Scotland 21-0 at some point but it's not a clear one.

Given the final score in that one I forgot Italy were ahead at half time. That probably is the most recent occasion.charltom wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 2:02 pmRuckgate, 2017?sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 1:30 pm Big test for Italy now. Hell of a break from your hooker, shame it ended with such a rubbish pass.

How can the independent doctor call for an HIA and the player not go off?

Lovely stuff.
On a side note, it's great that someone built like a 14 year old boy can star international rugby these days.

I might venture that Italy currently have the best 10’& 15 in the 6N. (Not Tommy)Tichtheid wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 2:28 pm That wee guy is going to inspire a generation of Italian kids, I hope

Australia's discipline has been dire, saved only by Italy's lack of proficiency with the boot.
Padovani was knocking them over from his own half on Cardiff

These Aussies are a bit thick.

That was stupid off the back of the lineout, one poor lineout already gave Aus a sniff, why give them another chance
