Very proud of our Sharks boys. Really put their hands up and brought the aggression.
Eben, Kolisi, Jayden and Mapimpi....vok yeah. We showed those Aussies a thing or 4
I don't think Rassnaber had anything to do with this. This was our boys playing for pride

Doesn't make a difference
oh come on, if we win the RC that's a massive statement of intent 12 months out from a world cup.
Sards is totally right. It does not make any difference at all. We are shit. The other three are equally shit. If we win it, we are the best of the shit. So what?!

Well it's clear Nienaber is clueless. We no longer have a backline. It's just the same old guys doing the same old thing in the forwards. It reminds me very much of the PDV era. The players doing their thing with no clear plan from the coach.
The one comment on fb stuck.
The real rugby is being played in the URC.
Nienaber is just managing the retired ( or should be retired players ) at the Springboks.
As a unit our forwards are super.
The problem lies with the Bok backline.
There is a total lack of skill on display.
DDA just can't pass. He lacks the basic skill.
Frans Stey , not being able to kick the ball from here to there is criminal.
Willie, as much as he sometimes offers on attack, is terrible on defense and under the high ball.
When the 10, 12, 15 axis is shit you can't expect the wings to perform.

Quite simply. Nienaber refuses to build depth at flyhalf. He is obsessed with utility players in that position. There are 2 young flyhalves that should have been brought into the squad months ago. Instead he put all his money on Steyn and Willemse and kept Herschel in the squad to collect a salary carrying bags and ignored the players that should have been there. He obviously believes that you don't need a specialist flyhalf because De Allende is not going to pass the ball and Kriel is going to vok it up anyway. I loved the last try. The back 3 took the ball and kept it to themselves until they got the try. There is no plan to use the backline to get points. It's just the forwards.
These 2 are seriously damaging the Springboks brand and the supporters standing with their whining and bitching about the ref where they are laying the blame instead of accepting responsibility for poor selection
Always when people call for someone to be dropped, I try to look who might be the next guy off the bus. I'm putting my bet on Mzwandile Stick for the next Boks coach and looking at his resume, it's fair to say it does not fill me with much hope for the future. It's fitting his other name is Wanky, Wanky Stick is exactly what comes to mind.

After the SA A misadventure I'll happily welcome both Toetie and HM back.
After watching Rassie's movie last night it surely clear up all the controversy around him and Nienaber. He is a out of box rugby thinker since he's playing days going back when he captained the Cats with Mains. As a player he was simply outstanding from Shimlas to Springbok. His coaching starts a year after retirement at the Cheetahs. Winning the CC with the Cheetahs at Loftus. Playing the Buls eet nie van die vloer af nie for a week to the players to motivate them. His time at the Stormers, Munster and Springboks. He learn and play a big role since Mallets coaching days.
I highly recommend this movie for rugby old facts like Sards
Problem is, the team hasn't developed any further since the RWC. They won a terrible Lions Series, but other than that it is total standstill. Selections, tactics... nothing. Total reluctance to change and progression. Absolutely nothing out of the box. Same game plan, same players, changes only for injuries. Week in week out. Thereby miserably failing their self proclaimed goal of consistency and becoming the best team in the world. How any Springbok fan cannot be critical about that and defend the coaches is beyond me. Our rugby is dire, we have great players and all the talent, yet we lose to every tier one nation bar Argentina this year. Our coaches have become entitled - exactly what Rassie warned the players not to become in the Chansing the Sun series. Italy is on fire, lets see how that goes on saturday.

Nope. It's exactly this sort of thing that goes straight to his head. Spend more time coaching (when you are able to and not banned) and spend less time on twitter and making movies Rassie. Thanks.
I see Willemse gave a press conference saying that they are very happy that they
" are heading in the right direction, despite the loss , and will benefit from playing to a sold out stadium in France. Its great to get some experience under the belt and we loved it...."
" we need to regroup, look at the footage and recover well...."

Sounds just like that muppet Nienaber
Sards, the Boks played well. There's a lot to be positive about, I enjoyed that game. It's Rassie that is pissing me off with his antics after, not the team. They've handled themselves brilliantly.

Played well? They lost! Just like every other week. As reigning World Champions. No man, it is just not good enough. That interview is embarassing.
That interview... What are they building??? Their self proclaimed consistency and winning habit? The team? They are the most settled team of all tear 1 nations, beast and Flo stopped playing, that's all. They are the world Champions bar 2 players. What a pathetic interview.
