If it wasnt for injuries, we would have seen no squad development the whole year.
Exactly. I honestly don't believe that Rassie or Nienaber will be happy about backing the wrong horse but with Libbok at 10 and Willie at 15 that backline zinged
No credit for Willemse? He scored on the wing.
See. He is even a better winger than fullback or flyhalf.

Dude. He is a dinosaur compared to Libbok. It showed in how kak our backline has been since he was there. Suddenly we are scoring backline tries for fun. Like I knew Libbok would do.If ever there was an injustice , it's that he is not earning 5bar. He is the Stormers backline general. That kid has been around the block. I was very disappointed when he left the Sharks.

Just admit you were wrong.

And Rassnabber has been a doos for forcing Willemse on us at 10

Sards you are the doos. Willemse can play everywhere with success. You want Curwin Bosch in his and Libbok place.

Totally agree. There is something massively wrong in the mind of that team. Are they paranoid?? They should shut the fuck up.

Culture's set from the top. Players obviously feel emboldened to call refs cheats on the pitch. Clearly not every player that would have done that to be fair, but it's a horrible look imo
Agree with all. Its embarrassing.
Is it embarrassing though? I think if you're an Anglo then maybe, in other cultures pretending you're happy and okay with everything when you actually aren't, is just seen as lying and something closer to being stupid. My lifetime experience has been South Africans (other than a small subset of the white population, which is over represented online) basically just prefer blunt truth, rather than a load of bullshit which isn''t even believed by the person saying it. The team is playing well, so if the culture is bad you have to explain how the culture is bad yet they're competitive in every match. Something Elton said in a recent interview was that he respects Rassie because he's always been honest with him.

You should look up some Pitso Mosimane post match interviews. There's one quite famous post match interview where he accuses Moroccans of being "bullies", loudly shouts down opposition Moroccan players and threatens them with retribution ("They come to South Africa and want to bully us? No we give it back!"), that was after Sundowns won too. Pitso is regarded as a bit of a legend for speaking his mind, there's no embarrassment. I wouldn't even know where to start with Steve Khompela interviews.

Don't talk kak. I have not mentioned Curwin. I have always asked for Libbok. Who you said was not good enough.
I have always asked for a specialist flyhalf. Not a jack of all trades but master of none. Willemse can warm the bench . As the jack of all trades. Let specialist players do their job.

What one of the 2 Love Birds might be missing is that the Bok forwards had proper dominance over the Azzuri forwards. And only then could whoever was at 10 unleash the backline to score tries with gay abandon.

Not at all. Libbok made a huge difference. He glided into space and his passing was crisp and accurate . It's clear as daylight.
But yes. Our forwards were dominant.
I do realize you watch the forwards more than the backs as that is where you played

THIS. SA marmalised the Eyeties up front (as expected) which gave the 1/2 backs and, hence the backs, an armchair ride and carte blanche to play with total freedom. Anyone can play under zero pressure: that's the whole point about the difference between being good and being the best.

Let's see what happens against Eng next week before jumping to conclusions.

Some lads from Rovereto rugby u15s were playing away in Genoa yesterday and bumped into the springboks who were kind enough to stop for photos

Thanks for the game Italy. The final score was a bit flattering to the Boks. It's great to see the strides you have made in the last year or so, and I hope you can go on to get a couple more big scalps in the Six Nations next year.

Can I also just add how well AE played. His passing was sublime and together with Willie did well to unlock the backline. Not just a bosh merchant.

Paul Roos and Grey College play open rugby. Paarl Boys and Gim more forward orientated pattern rugby. That's the Plan A plant in the players DNA.

His best match in a Bok jersey by far. He showed what he is capable of and I hope to see him playing at 12 for the Boks at that standard for a good while.

Beautiful. And I bet you they will put that plodder that runs sideways across the field, can't pass, kick ( needs Kolbe or Faf to kick for him ) or create gaps ( needs Willie to do that for him ) in at 10

It's not honest, though. It's conspiratorial thinking, and in Rassie's case it's frequently disingenuous bullshit, especially his edgelord attempts to make out he's not actually criticising the ref.
