Suspect he hasn't actually overcome the niggle from last week that meant Smith had to take over the kicking. Being the 'arch competitor' that he is he's trying to tough it out.

Again; who could have predicted that if SA actually used the pace they have on the wings, they would do better than with the aimless up & unders, they aren't very good at doing anyway ?
