I know they're hiding aliens there. On the way there you can refuel at gas station owned and operated by Elvis.

I wouldn’t worry too much about QANON, lads. The mission is almost complete, their man is in the Whitehouse - so the satanic cannibalistic paedophile ring’s days are numbered.

Donny will pull the trigger on bringing the whole evil cabal down any day now and then Q can retire.

There's a bit of that going around.
How can anyone logically claim to be immune?

It appears that the man responsible for Qanon is South African/Zimbabwean.

Whodathunk?

An article in the print edition of the Daily Maverick (which doesn't appear to be posted online) identifies one Paul Furber as the mastermind behind the cult.

Other sources identify Furber:
https://heavy.com/news/2018/08/paul-furber/
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QAnon#Origin_and_spread

And his twitter account:

I notice that the article has now been posted online:

https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/article ... be-afraid/
One of the world’s most popular technology podcasts, Reply All, this month aired the strong possibility that Furber might in fact have been the individual responsible for creating the QAnon myth in 2017.

Furber declined to comment on these allegations, saying he does not speak to the media.

Furber, whose LinkedIn profile records that he was educated in Zimbabwe, worked as a journalist covering the local tech industry from around 2006 to 2017. He is also a web developer.

According to media sources speaking off record, in recent years he appeared to be increasingly consumed by conspiracy theories. In a 2019 interview, Furber boasted about living off the grid on a “reasonably large property”, saying he had amassed “fuel, solar, lots of ammo”.

No idea who this is but this off-grid solar guy sounds like a climate change hero.

Depends what he's planning to use "lots of ammo" on, I suppose.

Bearing in mind that he's based in Johannesburg, I'd say he's more likely to favour the local indigene as prospective targets.

Not as far as I know.

AFAICS, his MO is to incite other people to do it for him.

I doubt there are too many other reasons for having a hoard of ammunition in Johannesburg.

You can't have a hoard of ammo in Joburg. They would have locked you up faster than you can say terrorist. Any fokon legal gun owner in SA will tell you that there's restrictions on how much ammo you're allowed to keep and this is probably the one thing that SAPS is pretty sharp on.

Nevertheless, he claims to have it.

But you are right.

If he is hoarding ammo, then he should get a visit from the cops, regardless.

The thing about these people is that we keep treating it like an ideology or a cult, but it’s more like drug addiction. That’s why it’s so hard or almost impossible to sway them.

Q Anon is conspiracy theorist heroin. You can’t start there. You start with some anti-vaxx or flat earth as you gateway conspiracy theory and then you move onto the harder stuff, New World Order, Obama is a secret Muslim etc. And before you know it you are wearing a Q t-shirt maskless at a Trump rally during a pandemic.

You can’t sway these folks because they are addicts and they don’t want to be swayed, just like you can’t force an addict to quit before they’ve hit rock-bottom. They are addicted to the sense of community and superiority they enjoy in these groups. Before they had these communities these people were outcasts ridiculed by society...but now they are online communities with a common enemy and each new crackpot theory gives them the dopamine hit they crave.
