Yeah, but I think he's due back in a couple of weeks time.

With every game, I get an increasing sense of dread that Munster have seriously fucked up letting Healy go

They've got stalwarts like Ruddock, D Kearney, & McGrath to fall back on at 6N time. It gives them that spine of the team, & then they can bring in the young guns from the academy to fill out the restPCPhil wrote: Sat Jan 28, 2023 5:26 pm Leinster, on song, can play A or B team and t doesn’t seem to matter.
Every single breakdown in the Sharks 22 had a blatant penalty as the ref was playing advantage. They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it just because it’s an advantage

It's one of those ones where you need to recognise the Ref isn't policing some stuff, & just join in the cheating.Slick wrote: Sat Jan 28, 2023 5:51 pm Sharks are incredibly cynical and the ref just lets them get away with it. Cracking match so far
Sharks games can be very entertaining, when they meet a team that's willing to throw it around a bit too

Yeah, it’s not really a criticism I guess, you do what you get away withfishfoodie wrote: Sat Jan 28, 2023 5:56 pmIt's one of those ones where you need to recognise the Ref isn't policing some stuff, & just join in the cheating.Slick wrote: Sat Jan 28, 2023 5:51 pm Sharks are incredibly cynical and the ref just lets them get away with it. Thought it was as blatant a push on chase on the man diving for the ball as you'll see, not really sure how that passed the TMO, but anyway.
Maul try result of team getting tired and Bosch not having experience to reset it. just aimless hoof away

Edinburgh v Sharks first half was great, a real battle at the set piece/maul/breakdown, some great phases ball in hand.
If one side runs out of puff and cannot repeat the first half they lose. If both keep going the finish is going to be down to the wire.

With Wright on this is now an easy 5 points for Embra.

Far far too loose from Sharks, line-out in tatters, discipline, not much working.

At least Fassi looks like getting back to confident in running.
Really need something different at 12.

Are you Saffers getting the same commentary as us? Jim Hamilton?
If not, he just picked up one of the Sharks players saying to him team mates, “this is a hell of a scrap”
One of the best games I’ve seen for a while. Edinburgh seem to be getting used to the physicality now and handing some back

Much as I hate to; I have to agree with your assessment of the Ref

Embra during the YC, when they had that man advantage were very poor though. It was so noticeable how they failed to fix the defenders with their passing, & as a result they never managed to create that space at the edges.

Great win by the Sharks. Was a good game of rugby.
Some of the worst rugby games that I have ever watched have fetured the $piv $harks. I wasted so much money going to Kings Park , only to be disappointed.
This was a GREAT match and so very well done to both teams.
It could have gone either way.
Well done $harks. You deserve it despite having the non tackling Bosch at 10.

I thought the ref was excellent. He allow the game to flow more and a bit of fight at the breakdowns.

Watson was a tiger for Embra. Should be in the Scotland team. What a player
Amazing he hasn’t played for weeks, I just don’t know where his strength comes from. Thought he probably wouldn’t make the Scotland team for next week but he might well do after that performanceOomStruisbaai wrote: Sat Jan 28, 2023 7:25 pm Watson was a tiger for Embra.
