Even with large initial numbers, if the assessment is correct it's a staggering loss for Russia
That would depend on who the someone is and what manner of advantage it is they are taking.Frop.E wrote: Wed Feb 15, 2023 4:29 pmNever, that would be insanity.fishfoodie wrote: Wed Feb 15, 2023 2:21 pm I wonder how long it'll be before someone decides to take advantage of >95% of the Orcs army committing suicide in Ukraine ?

Obviously Norway invading Russia would be insanity - but Georgia or Maldova retaking control of their borders may be less so. And then you have a plethora of internal republics with varying degrees of allegiance to Moscow. Not all together likely I don't think, but not beyond the realms of possibility either.

All I'd add, is that the republics that are theoretically loyal, are run by lick-spittle's who aren't generally popular, & if internal dissent started up, they'd normally call on the Orcs to help them out, or at least withdraw their Orcs from the main force, to come back home & help restore order.
Just look at Lukashenko, in Belarus !

A little tangential, but WRT the alleged US led conspiracy to destroy NordStream. Read it at the link provided as it's very long and detailed with supporting images
Blowing Holes in Seymour Hersh's Pipe Dream
On the surface Seymour Hersh's story looks passable, but as you dig deeper it has more holes than the Nord Stream pipeline.
I would like to preface this post by stating that I will not be making any conclusions on who is responsible for the Nord Stream pipeline explosions in this piece. While I have my suspects, all publicly available information regarding the explosions is circumstantial and there is none that conclusively points to a specific culprit. The purpose of this post is to debunk the claims made in Seymour Hersh’s Substack post titled “How America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline” using publicly available information.
In regards to Seymour Hersh’s past, both his time as a Pulitzer Price winning journalist in the 1970s and his recent factually incorrect takes on the Syria gas attacks and Skripal poisoning, I will let people like Eliot Higgins who worked on these cases give their opinion. This post will solely focus on the claims made in the recent Substack post.
The tl;dr summary
Seymour Hersh’s story would have been a lot harder to pull apart, had he decided to be more sparing with the details instead of going into depth with meaningless details that make little sense. A simpler story could have been believable, but this piece of Tom Clancy fan fiction is subpar.
Finally, through this entire detailed account there is one key thing Seymour Hersh neglects to mention or provide reasoning for. If Biden launched this operation with the express purpose of destroying Russia’s ability to supply Germany with natural gas, why only blow up three of the four Nord Stream pipelines? Why leave one of the two Nord Stream 2 pipelines intact, when they were the ones that Russia was able to open up at a moments notice.

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/world/r ... 60924.htmlA top Russian official has been found dead after an apparent fall from her high-rise apartment in St Petersburg.
The body of Marina Yankina, 58, the head of finance and procurement of the Russian Defense Ministry’s Western Military District, was found by police under the windows of the tower block in the Kalininsky district, according to reports.
Russian Telegram channel Mash and other Russian media outlets reported that documents and other items belonging to Yankina were discovered on the 16th-floor balcony of the building.
Her death came a year after she demanded on-air apologies from anyone who suggested that Russia would invade Ukraine accusing strategists in London and Washington of playing a “scary, strange, wild” political game.

Now she'll never receive the highest award that Ukraine can award for services to the State

Bit surprised they'd go to the effort of retrieving their own.

It's like the Orcs missed the last century or so of warfare.
At least in the American Civil war, they had artillery, to support the infantry, & then in WWI they added machine guns, & tanks.
In that video we see a single Orc getting between fighting holes, & getting slaughtered like a steer because he was all on his lonesome, & there's zero support ; no machine guns, no artillery, no tanks, not even an AFV.
The Orcs are so fucked.
Looks like regulars, they've got high spec gear. Searching around it's apparently the 22nd Motorized Infantry Battalion, they started life in 2014 as the Kharkiv TDB (Territorial Defence Battalion, later replaced by the TDF/Territorial Defence Forces when TDBs were regularised), civilians who took up arms when Russia invaded the first time and did the heavy lifting beating Russia back (because the Ukrainian military was in such a poor state back then). They've been regularised since.EnergiseR2 wrote: Fri Feb 17, 2023 9:32 pmhttps://files.catbox.moe/iim0yh.mp4

Part of 92nd Mech, which has a fearsome reputation ... as you would expect having joined battle immediately at the start of the full scale invasion where they've been ever since and are still standing a year later. They've broken whole tank armies and rifle battalions on their own. Heavy fighting like that is probably nothing to that guy by now. Madness.
When you read anodyne stuff like "Russian attacks were repulsed in xyz", fighting like that is what's actually happening.
I've watched a few times, he sends RPGs into a BTR at the start and kills some guys. That's why he's throwing grenades in that direction to take out any stragglers hiding around the destroyed BTR.fishfoodie wrote: Fri Feb 17, 2023 10:45 pmBizarreEnergiseR2 wrote: Fri Feb 17, 2023 9:32 pmhttps://files.catbox.moe/iim0yh.mp4

Well I see RPGs getting fired, but I can't see what they're being aimed at, & I can't hear the rumble of engines, or someone on them rattling away on any muzzle flash they see from these BTRs ?_Os_ wrote: Fri Feb 17, 2023 11:16 pmI've watched a few times, he sends RPGs into a BTR at the start and kills some guys. The lack of any signs of anyone firing on him is kinda jarring.

That sound for the first minute is a BTR's turret mounted 30mm auto cannon (that's my guess), you see it's muzzle flash at 30 seconds when he sends the first RPG in, it starts firing directly on his position at about 50 seconds after he fires one RPG into it (you can see the dirt getting thrown up), and he just ignores it and keeps getting his RPGs ready. He sends the second RPG in at about 1 minute you can see it hits (flash from the explosion), him and his loader shout, and there's no more auto cannon noise. Then he starts working on the dismounted infantry/crew. You can hear the Russians shouting to each other before he starts working on them. If you watch carefully you can see there's more than the one Russian caught in the open, he guns down at least two. At 4 minutes 30 seconds he eyes up the BTR again, there's at least two Russians on/around it and he sends an RPG into them.

Mr."_lost_generation", is who he is. Quite funny there's other vids of him manically defending other trenches with all the firepower he can get, and comments are mocking him for firing at nothing. And then 'nothing' emerged from the trees speaking Russian and carrying an AK and now he's the Ukrainian Rambo meme.

Upshot of all this is that Ukraine are going to be invincible on battlefields for at least a generation.
Do you reckon his other videos are from the same trench or a different one? If it's the same trench it shows how heavy the Russian offensive is and how some parts of the line must be struggling to hold. Not long ago the comments on his TikTok (now deleted as you say) were mocking him for videos like this.EnergiseR2 wrote: Sat Feb 18, 2023 8:51 amVideo gone.
