Walker dodges the one cap wonder tag, and at least participates in a scrum.
Ireland and France are going to manshame us.

The 345 might be a better guitar in fact, the electronics are different, more tones available.
Probably the worst Wales team in decades and yet England still struggled.
How can Borthwick not see that England will win nothing with Farrell anywhere in that team. Same goes for Slade, dire. He created nothng, slow of hand and thought.
On the flipside, Steward was immense, Watson very good Malins (intercept aside) good, Lawrence solid.

I'm more concerned about his chin fluff and him only being given 20 seconds on the pitch even with Farrell having one of his crapper games.
Can't risk the lead by removing our inspirational leader of men. His replacement might miss a kick at goal, or give utterly predictable passes in midfield. If he's not stood ten metres behind the gainline to hoof an aimless kick to the oppo back three. Best limit the replacements to cameos. Just in case.sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 6:44 pmI'm more concerned about his chin fluff and him only being given 20 seconds on the pitch even with Farrell having one of his crapper games.

A win is a win.
Would put a tenner on Ford starting vs France.

Wales attack is woeful
I’ve just remarked to a Welsh mate that it’s painfully like watching Scotland 10 years ago. Zero confidence, a lot of good work wasted by unforced errors or inability to retain the ball in contact. I mean this in sympathy- it was utterly shite, and I worry about how easily we might end up there again.C69 wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 7:12 pmThis is very old.news.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 6:41 pm Apparently Gatland tried to get Howley back on his team![]()

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
Listen mate the Scotland fans have more than earned the right to have their danders up right now but do you really have to lord it over us like thisSlick wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 6:50 pm Far be it for me to suggest again that the WC rankings were done a tad too early, but those 2 are the top seeds in their groups

The key difference is we had an equally shite Italy to play against - it doesn’t look like Wales will have that.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?
Nah wasn’t meant as a particular dig at England, we have, rightly, been complaining about the draw for a long timetc27 wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 7:26 pmListen mate the Scotland fans have more than earned the right to have their danders up right now but do you really have to lord it over us like thisSlick wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 6:50 pm Far be it for me to suggest again that the WC rankings were done a tad too early, but those 2 are the top seeds in their groups

Interestingly (?) I think S4C said that Grady is the first Wales player to get his first Welsh cap in the 5N/6N since Howley in 199something. Is that credible?Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 6:41 pm Apparently Gatland tried to get Howley back on his team![]()
I agree but let's be honest noone thinks Gats is taking this as a serious tournament he is using this as a trial series rotating players looking at new players and hopefully binning players like AWJ and 1/2 P.Biffer wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 7:29 pmVery much so.Yr Alban wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 7:17 pmI’ve just remarked to a Welsh mate that it’s painfully like watching Scotland 10 years ago. Our half backs were terrible today.
Our attack was appalling.
Just as expected for an experimental team.
That game made my eyes bleed! Wales woeful, England better but little rugby from either team over the 80 mins. I dont think I saw a back move of note in the whole game - the Italians made more line breaks and created more chances against Ireland than both Wales and England did against each other combined. Dreadful game.
Fucking hell, guess whoThe match that almost never happened turned out to be a treat. England always held the edge of superiority, they looked far more like a proper rugby team than they ever did in the latter years of the dismal Eddie Jones reign, and the partnership of Owen Farrell and the competitive Ollie Lawrence in midfield gave them a splendid shape.
It was just as well because Farrell was to miss 11 points in all with his kicks at goal and, with players such as Louis Rees-Zammit around and with their two brand new and youthful centres showing striking promise, Wales could always find a way to break through in those times late on when the margin was only five points.

It was a delightfully rapid and exciting match, not quite out of the top drawer in terms of execution but these are two emerging teams

ChatGPT Walrus England v Wales match report.
A thrilling rugby match that left spectators on the edge of their seats. This English team hit the ground running with an explosive start, sprinting across the pitch and delivering bone-crushing tackles left and right.
Their ferocity was unmatched as they bulldozed their way through the Welsh defense, leaving them scrambling to keep up. The English forwards charged forward, relentlessly pushing their way towards the try line, while the backs darted around like lightning bolts, zigzagging through the Welsh with ease.
England's scrum was a force to be reckoned with, overpowering Wales at every turn and sending them reeling backwards. The Welsh simply couldn't keep up with the sheer speed and agility of the English, who were like a pack of hungry muscular English wolves, tearing apart the weak Welsh with every tackle.
As the match wore on, England's dominance only grew stronger. The Welsh were completely overwhelmed and unable to mount any kind of effective counterattack. England's players moved like a well-oiled machine, working together in perfect harmony and executing their plays with precision and finesse.
In the end, England emerged victorious, the clear winners of this epic battle. The crowd erupted into a deafening roar as the final whistle blew, and the English players celebrated with wild abandon, jumping and shouting with joy.
It was a truly unforgettable match, a masterpiece of rugby prowess, of English rugby prowess, and England emerged as the undisputed champions.
