Whoever thought it was a good idea to play shitty music (or any music for that matter) during rugby games deserves a fucking good kicking imho.

If you ever had the pleasure of watching Edinburgh during the dark days of the Solomons era scrape a 3 point win against Dragons by box kicking relentlessly on a dark freezing cold winter Friday night with snow falling and 2,500 crowd in Murrayfield stadium which has a capacity of 67,000+ then any feckin music to tap your toes to would have been very welcome!

There's pressure on events teams to prove their worth and provide spectacle. It is also a by product of 'the largest pub in London/Cardiff/Edinburgh'. The more people aren't that fussed about the rugby the more added extras you need to put on.

Fwiw I quite like pre-game light shows etc and half time entertainment is no bad thing (The Hask's DJing is amusing at least). Just leave the game itself alone.

I enjoyed the whole crowd singing living on a prayer, when Jantjies fucked up another kick against the Welsh there last year.
