The match is now ruined can't read anything into it. I was looking forward to this one to give a bit of a read on the Boks v Scotland pool match.

I'm fine with red, I just think the high speed shoulder charge is the more dangerous of the two. It's not really a meaningful distinction in terms of what colour card it should be, so it doesn't matter, except maybe in terms of the ban. Either way, correct decision reached.

Superb kick from Russell - was a bit worried where his head was at given his half arsed efforts in defence early on, but he nailed that. With more space on the field this could be a riot with these two fly halves in control.

What I am afraid of. 14 v 14 suits Sco. Russell can play with abandon and might screw up but Sco will roll the dice. Ntamack will now kick all possession to Hogg for the remainer of the game.

Presumably because they were both fairly static rather than charging into each other, but given their relative sizes it does seem an odd comment. Also underlines why White should have an HIA.
