He's now given a few poor passes without too much gain on I think
Really worried about the line outs, hopefully get to settle down

Hey! I’ve come to terms with Paddy as my betterEnergiseR2 wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:30 pmThat's just made up bollox because you have a small willy and you don't like seeing Paddy as your betterPaddington Bear wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:28 pmHe’s the first ref to ref Ireland properly in a long time, appears to have done his homework
It's why you lot hate Barnes too, Prem refs tend to prefer a very clean breakdown that's closer to the laws as written.EnergiseR2 wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:30 pmThat's just made up bollox because you have a small willy and you don't like seeing Paddy as your betterPaddington Bear wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:28 pmHe’s the first ref to ref Ireland properly in a long time, appears to have done his homework
I think he was just trying to push him out? Maybe thought he was further away than he was, and trying to be in position to match a step? Very strange.JM2K6 wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:32 pm Mmmm maybe not quite as bad as I first thought. It's a great finish anyway so fair enough.
edit: ah we finally get a good replay. The one arm underneath is with a clenched fist, no attempt to grasp, it's a very strange tackle attempt.
I don’t think it’s any exaggeration to say that England suffer a 43 point penalty each week because foreign refs don’t interpret the laws properlysockwithaticket wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:33 pmIt's why you lot hate Barnes too, Prem refs tend to prefer a very clean breakdown that's closer to the laws as written.EnergiseR2 wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:30 pmThat's just made up bollox because you have a small willy and you don't like seeing Paddy as your betterPaddington Bear wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:28 pm

Wholeheartedly agree, it's a testament to our players that they ever win tbh.Paddington Bear wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:36 pmI don’t think it’s any exaggeration to say that England suffer a 43 point penalty each week because foreign refs don’t interpret the laws properlysockwithaticket wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:33 pmIt's why you lot hate Barnes too, Prem refs tend to prefer a very clean breakdown that's closer to the laws as written.EnergiseR2 wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:30 pm

Yeah he's just trying to barge him into touch. Probably lucky it was scored.TheNatalShark wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:34 pmI think he was just trying to push him out? He wasn't on his knees.I like neeps wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:39 pm Vdf on his knees for the turnover there. Interesting new law to allow it - must've missed it becoming legal.
He was. He slipped before he entered the ruck and entered on his knees.JM2K6 wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:40 pmHe wasn't on his knees.I like neeps wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:39 pm Vdf on his knees for the turnover there. Interesting new law to allow it - must've missed it becoming legal.
Meh, VDM can’t offload.fishfoodie wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:38 pm That's probably the coaching video tackle to demonstrate you can tackle low, & stop the offload
I literally just went back and checked - his knee doesn't touch the ground. Lowe's does, but he gets back up before going for the ball. There was nothing wrong with it.I like neeps wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:43 pmHe was. Ireland seem to have more control when they have the ball but we aren't doing bad.EnergiseR2 wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:47 pm Scotland better in many ways but we should really be 15- 7 up
K so I had a look at this and Furlong is all on his own, trudging off slowly, as Ireland sprint off. What on earthI like neeps wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:48 pm Ireland sprinting off as Furlong smashes someone in the face. Very 'streetwise".
